About the Area
Mimico by-the-Lake is a community in the southwest of Toronto that allows quick access to the downtown via GO train or by car via highway driving. It is steps to Lakeshore Blvd. W. which has many eateries as well as the boardwalk on the lake. Walk to the seasonal Saturday farmers market Humber Bay Park to enjoy organic muffins with Apple cider juice or power yourself with freshly cut fries before a bike ride to downtown. Stroll the boardwalk and watch the boats pass by.
Mimico is a residential community with two main commercial strips: Lakeshore Blvd West and Royal York Rd. Mimico Walkscore is about 71.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

No smoking, no pets, no use of hair dyes or other spa treatments in the house (I can suggest a great salon). No cooking in the bedroom. No parties. Unregistered guests must be approved before they can come inside the house, parents are welcome to visit students with notice.
No smoking anywhere in the property including the backyard and outside the entrance door (severe allergy jn the house). Thank you.
Please clean after yourself. You are welcome to use the kitchen, please put the used dishes and pots in the dishwasher. Kindly put the trash in the trash bins.
These areas are not accessible to guests: Family room (we have designated shared living room for the guests)
Host’s master bedroom and other bedrooms that are not assigned to guests
Guests have access to common living room, shared kitchen and dining, main floor washroom, designated guest bathroom (maybe shared with other guests, please ask), washer/dryer room with sink, and backyard.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
