About the Homestay
Hello! We are a family of 5 (mom, dad and 3 kids) plus our adorable friendly dog named Freddie (Labradoodle non-allergenic) . We live in the Beach, Toronto, Ontario close to TTC and Subway. Beautiful neighborhood with lots of trees, close to the lake and boardwalk. We have a kitchen and bathroom for your use plus laundry. We are a vibrant family household with busy schedules. We love to entertain and always invite our Homestay guests to join us. I speak Italian and would love the practice:)

About the Area
Our house is located in a beautiful part of Toronto called the Beaches with lots of bike paths, ravines, boardwalk and the Lake Ontario. We are a 20 minute drive to downtown and a 30 min subway ride. We are close to many TTC bus stops, public librarys, coffe shops, grocery stores, theatres, pubs and convenience stores. Assesible routes to many universities and colleges.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

We would like to know when our guests plan on returning home and if they are staying out and for how long.
No smoking in the house and must smoke far enough away from house out of children’s view.
No guests allowed to have sleepovers with others at our house. No visitors in their room. Guests can have a friend come over for a short while.
Clean their own rooms. Use their detergents for clothes washing and washings after 7pm full loads only. And clean up after themselves in kitchen too.
No noise or loud music after 11pm weekends and 10pm on weeknights.
No excessive alcohol drinking.
Smoking is not allowed.
The host cancelled the booking 12 days before the arrival date.
I had the pleasure of spending six incredible weeks with Daniela and her family in Toronto. I was welcomed as part of the family from day one and felt at home in their beautiful house immediately. Daniela and her family are open-hearted, caring and outstandingly kind and did do everything for me to feel like at home. Also, they have the cutest and kindest dog ever! Staying with this incredible family was an experience I will never forget.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
