About the Area
Islington centres on a retail strip of cute little restaurants, pubs and shops along Dundas Street West (originally The Governor's Road, the first highway connecting Toronto to London, Ontario) which runs along an escarpment (the Lake Iroquois Shoreline, the ancient shore of Lake Iroquois) across the width of Etobicoke. To the west where Kipling Avenue crosses Dundas Street West (and Bloor Street West) is the Six Points intersection, the central point in Etobicoke's grid. To the east, Dundas Street crosses the Mimico Creek. The original community called Mimico grew west of Montgomery's Inn, which was built in 1832 at Dundas Street West and Islington Avenue (beside the Mimico Creek) to serve travellers coming or going from Toronto to western Ontario along Dundas St. Unlike the better-known Montgomery's Tavern in Toronto, Montgomery's Inn was used by soldiers remaining loyal to the government during the 1837 rebellion. Etobicoke was officially incorporated as a township in 1850, first using Montgomery's Inn for its meetings until the nearby original Methodist Church was purchased.

-You have to be in the country for the last 6 months. "Not travelled" outside Canada.

-Mask wearing is mandatory in common rooms/areas. in Lobby, in the elevators as per building management instructions.
-Washing hands and keeping 1,5 m distance in common areas.
-NO EVENTS/PARTIES are allowed,
-NO smoking NO vaping of any substances
-Payment is due upon arrival in full ( if booked for less than a month) and then on the 1st of each month if the stay is longer
-If you are staying only
two weeks, which is minimum stay - a cleaning fee of 50$ apply
-NO excessive noise, especially after 11 pm. Please respect the neighbours!
-NO aromatic candles or other burning scents
-Please take off your shoes inside the suite.
-Also please clean and rinse thoroughly any dishes with water and put them into the dishwasher carefully.
-Check-in time at 2.00 pm.
-Check-out time at 11:00 am.
-I don’t offer any meals, this system doesn’t allow me to edit this correctly. I will gladly offer and invite you to try the tasty soups that I cook for dinners.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
