This 3BR apartment at Yonge/Steeles offers:

Minutes away from bus stop that is a 7 to 10 minute bus ride to the subway statt makes it accessible to many parts of Toronto. With a fully equipped kitchen, this is a great opportunity for students, fresh graduates or young professionals.
The Space:
In this home I have my own bedroom. If you opt for the pull out couch room, you will share the very neat and clean washroom with me. If you opt for the Queen size bed room, you will have a private ensuite washroom.
Guest access:
As a guest, you will have access to:
- the fully equipped living room with a TV (no cable)
- dining room
- fully equipped kitchen with plates, glasses, utensils, microwave, slow cooker, rice cooker, kettle.
- basic condiments (salt, pepper, ketchup, etc.)
- a washer/dryer; and
- a balcony which was renovated to look like an outdoor patio (great for the summer only of course, unless you enjoy a deep freeze routine every now and then)
- access to an in-suit washer and dryer as well as laundry detergent
- I provide dish washing soap but you are responsible for cleaning your own dishes. There is also a dishwasher than can be used.
- unlimited WiFi.
About Me:
I am an Architect and work from home , so during the day I am usually busy in meetings and need a quiet space to work. I know the city fairly well and can guide you if you are a newcomer. Having said that, I also respect your need for privacy and quiet time.
Neighborhood Overview:
The Yonge and Steeles neighbourhood is the northern end of Toronto but the place has quick access to the subway and is close to Yonge Street, which has all day and all night bus service taking you directly to downtown Toronto. The neighbourhood has a small mall with a food court, coffee shops, a grocery store and a Dollarama. There are restaurants within a 5 minute walking distance as well.
Getting Around:
The place is a 7 to 10 minute bus ride to Finch subway station. Highway 401 is a 10 to 15 minute drive from the place and connects to the airport and suburban Toronto as well.
What I am Expecting:
I have had a few roommates in the past, and have also lived on my own in the place. I am looking for someone who is respectful of the tidiness of the place, cleans up after himself.

About the Area
Neighborhood overview
The Yonge and Steeles neighbourhood is next to what could be called the the downtown of uptown Toronto, with a movie theatre nearby and access to numerous restaurants, civic squares and parks, a public library and a performing arts centre. The mall next door has a grocery store, gym and a food court.
Getting around
The place is right next to a bus stop and is a 7 to 10 minute bus ride to Finch subway station. It is a 5 minute walk to Yonge Street which has a frequent bus service as well (including the all night bus). Highway 401 is a 10 to 15 minute drive from the place and connects to the airport and suburban Toronto as well.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
