Welcome to M&M’s homestay
We are located in one of Toronto's trendiest neighbourhoods. We are in walking distance to public transportation, bars, restaurants, shops, parks and schools in the core of downtown Toronto. We are in walking distance to Toronto’s famous Queen Street West, Dundas Street West and Ossington Street.
It is a very safe neighbourhood with public transportation only 5 minutes away.
We are a young university-educated, professional couple. We speak Canadian English fluently. We are friendly active people who love to travel and meet new people and learn about other cultures. MaryAnne has been an elementary school teacher with the Toronto District School Board for the past 10 years and she has taught ESL in Korea. Mubeat is a business professional who has lived and studied abroad and who has used homestays in her travels and education. Some of our hobbies include playing soccer and tennis, reading, painting and socializing with friends and family. We both work a lot and are often busy outside of the home so our homestay is best suited to mature and independent students or professionals. We cannot provide meals due to our schedules but you are welcome to share the basement kitchen with one other student .
Our dreams were finally fulfilled we have two kids after years of trying. No pets. We can host up to three students. Our home is bright, spacious and clean. In your room, you will have a window, mirror, bed, desk, lamp, and a place to put your clothing. You will have unlimited wi-fi, a shared kitchen, a shared bathroom and shared laundry facilities.
EXTRA COSTS: One of our most frequently asked questions is... Are there any extra costs? The only extra costs are that you provide your own food, toilet paper and laundry detergent...everything else is included.

Keep your room tidy
Clean up after yourself, especially in the shared spaces
Be mindful of energy conservation and recycling
Perfume - we are a scent free home. If you wear perfume or cologne please don’t wear much as we are allergic

Mubeat and Maryanne are amazing hosts, sweet, and caring, they made this stay a wonderful one. Always making sure you don't lack anything and that you're are doing great, giving you privacy but also always here for a chat. This is such a wonderful stay!

I am so glad that I found Maryanne and Mubeat's homestay, it really made my final few months in Toronto a great experience. Comfy, clean and in an incredible location. The hosts are welcoming and approachable. I would highly recommend staying here!

I really enjoyed my stay here! Mubeat & Maryanne are exceptional hosts. They made sure I was settled in and were on hand for any questions. The room was extremely spacious, clean and in a fantastic location. Will definitely love to stay here again when I'm back in Toronto :)

I really enjoyed staying with Maryanne and Mubeat. The communication was great and they are a lovely family. The house is beautiful and clean and I am thankful that I have been able to call this my home for the last few months.

Really comfortable stay. Great communication with Mubeat and Maryanne. The place is in an excelent location close to many restaurants, bars and stores and also public transportation. My stay was very nice and the hosts really attentive and helpful.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
