Welcome! We host international students/youth for short term periods in a safe, inclusive environment.
Come stay with us in our beautiful home, in one of the best neighbourhoods in Toronto. The accommodation is a large basement bedroom, with a private bathroom. The bedroom is bright and comfortable with a double bed. There is also a small fridge and microwave. Guests will have access to fast wi-fi.
If you are staying at least one week, we are happy to arrange access to our main kitchen.
Do note that the ceilings in the basement are lower (6.5ft).
We keep our home clean and tidy and expect guests to do the same. My partner and I are out-going and social, so we know the city well and can give you great tips on fun places to see. We have two, friendly senior dogs that will welcome you when you arrive!
Our home is a 5 minute walk to Humber College Lakeshore Campus, 2 minute walk to public transportation. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
Guests can book for a maximum of 28 days (4 weeks), but it could be possible to extend the stay (please let me know if you might want to extend your stay at the time of booking).
This accommodation is only for 1 person.
Laundry is not included by can be arranged for a fee.
Please make sure your Homestay profile is complete and note that guests must book at least 48 hours prior to their planned arrival date. All guests must also provide photo ID prior to arrival.

About the Area
My home is located in lovely area of Etobicoke, a 5 minute walk to Humber College Lakeshore Campus and a 5 minute walk to the Lake with a beautiful view of the city! Very convenient location, 2 minute walk to local restaurants, shops, etc. 20 minute Uber to downtown. About a 10 minute drive to Sherway Gardens Shopping Centre.

It was a great place to stay, the location was within walking distance to stores and shops, including the lake . Really the room was perfect for my needs , super clean and tidy. Even though our schedules were busy, when I spoke with her she was friendly and welcoming. Certainly would recommend it to other travelers !

I've had a wonderful stay with Larisa in Toronto. She is a great host, always helpful and very sweet. The apartment is located close to the lake and all sorts of amenities. The two dogs are adorable. The room is as cozy as you could wish and has a breathtaking view. Would highly recommend!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
