My home is located in the heart of downtowm North York, within a short walking distance to the subway and all the action that a city has to offer.
We are also perfectly located for fast bus transportation to York University and Seneca College. The downtown University of Toronto campus is on the subway line.
The homestay room overlooks a fairly large backyard yard and is on the second floor.of the house with the other 2 bedrooms. I have a cat who likes being outdoors in the warmer weather. My children are grown up with families of their own but they visit from time to time. I have a cat who prefers to be outside much of the time.
Although I live near a busy street, my neighbourhood is a calm, family-friendly place.

About the Area
Our home is located in the northern section of the city, 5m from downtown Toronto and walkinf distance to the North York Ciry Centre. It is about a 20-minute drive to the airport.
A bus stop is located 2 minutes away and the subway only 5 minutes.

- No guests in room other than Homestay guest.
- no loud music after 11 pm
- showers are to be limited to 10 minutes. - the one bathroom is used by everyone in the house; use of this bathroom at peak times (am &pm) with household.members. There is a second toilet in the basement for emergency use.
- clean up after yourself
- use of the microwave permitted
- Guest may store personal food.items in the home's second fridge (in the basement)
- no smoking in the house.
- laundry facilities may be used per agreement with landlord
- the house phone may be used for outgoing local calls.

Majda is such a lovely woman. It was like being at home.. she is so homey!She provided me with many things I needed but I didn't have. She is smart and well educated. I enjoyed talking to her at night before bed time. I strongly recommend Majda!

My experience was simply great!!! Majda is an incredibly young grandma who loves her family and makes you part of it. She is nice and spoils you all the time. If I ever come back to Toronto I will seek for her hospitality again. Thanks Majda!!!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
