About the Area
Our home is located in a very lovely area west of Vancouver. The bus stop is just outside of the apartment. Outside is a long, long walking, biking trail that leads to the Kitsilano beach The local community center is across the street from my apartment. The local center has library, swimming pool and gym. The area has a shopping district with lots of cafe shops, bubble tea shops, organic groceries, bakery and different restaurants. It is a nice and peaceful and safe neighborhood.

Xu is a very kind hoster and treated me just like her son. Always concerned about if I was in need of something, asking what I would like to eat in breakfast and giving me advices of places to go in Vancouver as well.
Kerrisdale is a very good place to live: there are a lot of restaurants near and a bus stop that takes you to UBC in less than 25 minutes. A very strategic point if you are a exchange ou internacional student at UBC.
Loved Xu! Strongly recommend!
