We have an amazingly large home to share with friends around the world on the west side of Vancouver in a very quiet neighborhood. Only 1 bus to downtown, 10 minutes away from skytrain and walk 15 minutes to the major shopping mall, Oakridge Centre. Our rooms are HUGE! We have a very luxurious kitchen to be shared by everyone and lots of sitting areas at our home for quiet reading or just hanging out. In front of our house is a beautiful park for a nice walk or watch a game of baseball on the weekend.
We will have some supplies of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, soap, food, etc for your first few nights of stay. However, please buy your own supplies if you are staying long-term.
Washer, dryer and laundry detergent is provided at no extra charge.
House rules:
Be very respectful to everyone at the house
Quiet hours after 10:30 pm
Keep clean! Each person will be responsible for washing their own dishes and taking out their trash.
Bathroom time 15 minutes max for each person
No over night friends, no large group of friends hanging out in common area
Monthly rental, payment upon arrival.
We require 2 weeks notice if you are moving out, otherwise we will not refund your security/damage deposit (half month of rent).

About the Area
Our house is located in a central area of major bus routes. Under 10 minutes to both Langara or Oakridge Skytrain station. Both 41st and 49th Ave have buses that goes directly to UBC, both Granville and Oak Street has direct bus to downtown. We are right in front of a park, perfect for an evening walk.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
