Hello, I am a single mature woman, who lives 300m from Commercial/ Broadway Skytrain Station and 20,22,9,& 99 bus routes. My home is a ground floor 2 Bedroom suite of a large 4 suite Character Home, that looks onto the back patio\garden area. I have a large gentle dog that loves to cuddle and will give you many kisses.

About the Area
My suite is a 3 minute walk to what is known as "The Drive" in Vancouver. There are many specialty shops, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, pubs and venues that host live entertainment.
Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

I recommend this stay to everyone. All the rooms in the house are great, and the room is very comfortable.

My daughter Sophia and I loved our stay with Shelley and her sweet, gentle dog Enzo. My daughter fell in love with Enzo. Shelley was so welcoming and very helpful. In all ways, it was a perfect stay. It's super easy to get to the Sky Train. It's like 3 or 4 blocks away, with a lot of restaurants nearby. Bed is super comfy. Thank you, Shelley and Enzo!!

Shelley was an absolutely wonderful host who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. From the moment I arrived, her warm and friendly nature made me feel right at home. By the end of my stay, Shelley felt more like a friend than a host, and I genuinely appreciated her kindness and thoughtful touches throughout my visit.
And Enzo—what a gem! He is the most gorgeous, lovable dog ever. His playful energy and sweet demeanor made every day brighter. Enzo’s charm was impossible to resist.
I wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you have the chance. Shelley and Enzo make for an unforgettable experience!

I travel to Canada for the first time . Been to many bnb, homestays… the last one in Vancouver i booked in with Canadian . I am so grateful. Shelley made me feel right at home faraway from home. And a bonus i have a guard dog so intelligent all most human . Thank you . I will be back

Shelly was lovely and friendly and we loved her dog Enzo , however there was multiple occassions the dog would bark at all hours of the morning and wake us up. When we came home he would also nip or run at the door which is fair hes a dog but I was a little scared as he is a big dog. The smell of the Dog in the home was also very strong. A few nights stay is fine but I dont think I would reccommend for long stays. Great location and close to the sky train and bus to downtown :)

Alanna, in our early communications you stated one of the reasons you booked my place was because of Enzo, so I'm a little perplexed at your comment that on multiple occasions he would bark at all hours of the morning! Dobermans are natural guard dogs and yes he protects his home and his pack! I hope you consider in the future that you don't stay with a host who has a dog, as dogs bark they guard! As far as the nipping, I find this confusing as Enzo has never nipped at a humane or dog his whole life, he is the most non-aggressive 4 legged being I have ever had the privilege of owning! And if this was an issue I wish you had addressed it with me so any bad behavior could of been addressed at the time! As far as dog scent, thank you for letting me know, I pride myself on having a clean home for my guests and a comfortable, relaxing room for their stay, sometimes we get nose blind, so thanks for the heads up! I am always open to suggestions to make my guests stay wonderful while they explore this beautiful city at a very economical price point! Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors!

I had a great stay with Shelley (and Enzo) in Vancouver. Shelley was friendly, welcoming, and available to help me settle in and answer any questions. The apartment is clean and comfortable and it's great having Enzo the friendly Doberman around for company as well. It's located in a great area with easy access to transport, shops, eateries, and services. I would stay here again.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
