Single lady offering accommodations for travelers/workers/student. Welcoming spacious home in East Vancouver. I have a grand-puppy that likes to visit. I work from my home and keep my schedule flexible. 15 minute walk to Joyce-Collingwood Skytrain, 10 minute bus to BCIT, walking distance to groceries, restaurants. Close to #25, #27 & #28 busses.

House Rules
Please note that we only accept guests 18 to 35 years old or families with young children. Rooms and bathrooms to be kept tidy at all times. Clear/clean all items when done in common areas (kitchen/living room/dining area) Follow written instructions regarding home (i.e. appliance use). No overnight guests without previous permission. Quiet time is 11pm to 8am (reasonable minor noise and of course if you need to bathe). Payment can be made weekly by eTransfer or other TBD 1 week before.

I had the pleasure of spending a week at Vivean’s place, and it was a wonderful experience. Vivean and her daughter were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help. The lanehouse I stayed in is newly built, well-maintained, and fully equipped with all the essential household and kitchen amenities—it truly felt like a home away from home. The location is about a 20-minute walk from the Joyce-Collingwood SkyTrain station, and they were kind enough to offer me a ride back with my bags. I would wholeheartedly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Vancouver.

I had a great experience staying at Vivean's place. She is a very kind and welcoming host who truly makes you feel at home. The atmosphere in the house is calm and respectful, and living with the other guests was very easy and peaceful. I felt comfortable and supported during my stay, and I would definitely recommend her home to anyone looking for a warm and friendly environment.

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay! Vivean was incredibly kind, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything I needed. Her hospitality made me feel right at home. The house was spotless and well-maintained, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. This was definitely a great experience, and it won’t be my last visit. Highly recommended!

Had a great time at Viveans place. The house is clean, comfy and quiet. Vivean was a lovely host, she took care of all my needs and questions and did everything to make me feel comfortable from the moment I moved in. Would always be happy to stay here again and I can only recommend this place to everyone!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
