Hello, welcome to Vancouver!
The location is ideal for new visitors. Just 15 minutes to downtown on the train. We live on a quiet, green street that's close to everything. Buses, trains and Oakridge mall are just a few minutes walk. Direct public transportation to UBC, Langara College, downtown schools and the airport.
My home is bright, cheerful and our neighbourhood is clean and safe to walk at any time. The back garden is a park like setting, green, private and very relaxing.
We live in a 5 bedroom home with my international family and I have 3 homestay rooms available for guests.
I have met so many amazing, adventurous people from all over the world, I know that I will continue to meet and look forward to many more.
You would be welcome to join us, short stays, long stays and full semesters are welcome!
I hope to meet you soon,
Thank you,
Dianne

Staying at Dianne's homestay was nothing short of a blessing. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The warmth and care that Dianne extends to her guests is unmatched. Her space provided me with a sense of comfort and safety during a particularly tough time in my life. It was more than just a place to stay; it felt like being part of a family.
Dianne goes above and beyond to ensure her guests feel welcomed and supported. Her home is cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained, with all the little touches that make a stay so special. I am incredibly grateful to have found such a peaceful and nurturing environment when I needed it most. If you're looking for a homestay that feels like home, I wholeheartedly recommend Dianne's place. It truly made a difference in my life, and I can't thank her enough.

We stayed at Dianne house for 2 weeks. The house is very beautiful and big. Walking 11 minutes to Canada line Langara-49th Avenue Station. The nearest supermarket is call T&T, take Canada line for 1 station. There are Cereal for breakfast. No banana in the house because Dianne allergy about banana. Can not cook after 6pm. Can not use kitchen, if you have a cold. Prepare shampoo and body soap by yourself. There are two toilet that we can use, if the toilet is occupied, we can us the other one. Dianne share her pie for us, it's delicious. Dianne's housemate Svea give us chocolate as a Easter gift, she is very nice!
February 2020

The stay with Diane was great! she is lovely and helps you with everything and gives you a lot of freedom, makes you feel at home. The rooms are great, they all have their own window. The house is close to the subway, 25 minutes from downtown, you also have a shopping center close by. She always has some things for breakfast and she always gives you advice of places of interest and things to do. We recommend her 100%!! she was our mom in Vancouver :)
