About the Area
Hostal El Retiro comfortable to get on a long trip and be picked up by a taxi from the house.
Our house is located in the north of the province of Matanzas, just about 6 Kms from the famous Varadero beach, just steps from the best beach in our cozy town: Los Pinos Beach, and only 12 km from the international airport of Varadero, our neighborhood It is quiet and comfortable to visit nearby sites and with good transportation.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Jiscly. Merci à Carmen de s'être occupé de nous avec soin! Petit point négatif : un groupe de jeunes a séjourné à la même période que nous et ils ont fait énormément de bruits parfois jusqu'à 3-4h du matin, c'est dommage que notre hôte n'a pas su instaurer le calme pour le respect de chacun.

Der Aufenthalt bei Olga war sehr schön und angenehm. Trotzdem wir kein Spanisch konnten, hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Das Frühstück auf der Terasse ist wunderbar mit Blick aufs Meer, die Zimmer sind sauber und ich würde jederzeit die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen.

Die Zimmer blitzsauber. Das Essen sehr gut. Die Atmosphäre sehr familiär. Wir fühlten uns als Teil der Familie. Danke! Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Once again, it was a lovely stay at El Retiro, the warm welcome, the great breakfast und beautiful rooms all make for a happy stay if you are into an experience away from the touristic hotspot.
Busses an d Taxis to Varadero are easy enough -absolute recommendation.Host reply
Muchas gracias Martha y sus amigos de Austria los que tuvimos la oportunidad de además de conocer compartir con nuestra música cubana en el delever de nuestro hostal, tomando fotos preciosas de las puestas de sol,disfrutamos juntos en la playa y se realizo es noque en el entorno de nuestra playa apreciando un fondo con habita de diferentes especies marinas, relajados en las reposadoras de la terraza tomando hasta el último sol de Cuba antes de partir. Nos sentimos felices y muy honrado con estos huéspedes y en especial con Martha que además de ser una excelente líder, muy familiar ocupada y preocupada por todos los detalles a tomado la decisión

a group of 8 stayed at El Retiro 4 nights and truly enjoyed the hosting family´s wonderful hospitality. From the first reception to the last goodbyes - it was a very nice stay. The rooms in the first floor are new, very spacious and airy. Were the best rooms we had in a Casa.
Boca is a very rural location, very quite but near enough to Varadero and its busy touristy life.
We took the local bus to Varadero in the morning, and back late afternoon, which was an experience in itself. There are a couple of places in Boca, where you can have a drink or something to eat, and of course one can also enjoy dinner in the hosts CASA, which
unfortunately we didn't get around to do.

La casa di Olga è molto bella, arredata con gusto e la spiaggia è a pochi passi. Lidia ci ha preparato colazioni e pranzi ottimi e abbondanti. La loro squisita ospitalità ci hanno fatto trascorrere una vacanza perfetta e indimenticabile.

When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
