The House of Angela and Luis consists of four (2) rooms available for rent. One of them is independent.
It is a modern house built in 1952 and located in a residential area a few meters from the city center and the old town.
Here accommodation and gastronomic services are provided, cocktails are offered (the refreshing Cuba Libre and the traditional Mojito, specialty of the house), breakfasts, snacks and dinners made to order for the most demanding tastes, with traditional and typical foods of our region, and the delicious Cuban fruits.
The rooms are air conditioned as well as having a fan and shutter windows that open and close according to the client's wishes. They have music equipment, color TV, refrigerated mini bar where you can find drinks and soft drinks, closet to hang and store clothes and luggage; also private bathroom inside the rooms with cold and hot water 24 hours a day.
Laundry and dry cleaning services are offered. It has a garage to store your car and also has a telephone service for calls of any kind. We also provide internet service and we provide our clients with the location of a rental house in any other province of our country. We also provide taxi services inside and outside the town with low prices according to the place of destination.
We usually wait for our clients somewhere when entering the city if they come by tourist car or rented taxi. We do this to make it easier for you to get to the house, since the streets of Camagüey, due to their historical structure, resemble a labyrinth and it is a bit complex to travel through them if you do not know each other.
If they come via Vía Azul, the taxi with their names in the terminal would wait for them and bring them to the house. We do this to make it easier for all of our clients to arrive at our house.
Very close to us is the Principal Theater and the Plazas del Carmen and San Juan de Dios. The Republic street, main street of our city (boulevard) is also very close, less than 8 minutes walking.

About the Area
Our house is located a few meters from the old town and city center. Only 8 or 10 minutes walk and is now with Republic Street is the main street of our city (boulevard). Nearby is also the Principal Theatre, La Plaza del Carmen with the church of the same name, The Church of Santa Ana, Los Restaurant, El Meson del Principe and 1800 among others.

La pasamos muy bien en Camagüey gracias a Angela, a Luis y a su hijo. Son una familia extremadamente amable, alegre y servicial. Su casa es muy bonita, nuestra bonita habitación también estaba dentro de la casa. Tuvimos el mejor desayuno allí. ¡Gracias por todo! Un beso para la familia. Peter y Mónika

Son excelentes anfitriones sumamente amables y preocupados en que el huésped se sienta como en casa. Preparan un delicioso desayuno. Desde su casa es muy fácil recorrer caminando todo el centro de Camaguey. Ellos orientan muy bien donde comer y que actividades hacer. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

Angela and her husband are a wonderful cpuple. The 1st night they placed me at another house which i did not enjoy much but the other 2 nights i stayed with Angela and her husband I loved. They are such warm caring people, helpful, and want you to enjoy your stay to the fullest. It felt like home Here. Room very comfortable too and location perfect.

Angela is good host and her room is spacious, clean and comfortable. She arranged our taxi from and to the busstations for us. She also had information about restaurants and made us sandwiches when we had to leave at 06.30 in the morning. A very nice lady and we recommend her house.

Avec deux amies nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit à Camagüey mais nous sommes très contents de notre séjour chez Angela et Luis. La maison est bien et dispose d'un garage. Angela est très accueillante. Je recommande cette casa. Petit conseil : vérifier bien votre GPS car Camagüey est un vrai labyrinthe !!

Gracias Emeline, nosotros también nos sentimos muy complacidos con tu presencia y la de tus dos amigas. Es verdad que las calles de Camagüey parecen un laberinto, fueron consruidas así en épocas de la colonia para evitar los ataques de los corsarios y piratas. Por eso siempre le recomendamos a nuestros clientes que vienen en coche que nos avisen para esperarlos a la entrada de la ciudad y facilitarle la llegada a nuestra casa.
Merci Emeline, nous sommes aussi très heureux de ta présence et de celle de tes deux amis. Il est vrai que les rues de Camagüey ressemblent à un labyrinthe, elles ont été consignées à l'époque coloniale pour éviter les attaques des corsaires et des pirates. C'est pourquoi nous recommandons toujours à nos clients qui viennent en voiture de nous informer d'attendre à l'entrée de la ville et de faciliter l'arrivée à notre maison.

We had booked for one last night in Camaguey before leaving Cuba, but hurricane Irma decided otherwise. So we stayed a week, with several days without electricity or internet. But Angela and Luis succeeded in making even those days feel like vacation. They are such nice people and I surely hope we will meet again. My only comfort is that Angela showed my wife how to make 'ropa vieja', so when we miss Cuba too much, we can always prepare that delicious Cuban meal at home now. Angela, Luis and Jorje-Louis, thanks for everything ! You are perfect hosts.

Gracias Dirk y Vania, en realidad fueron unos días difíciles por el paso del huracán Irma, sobre todo la noche del día 8 de Sept., pero juntos en familias pasamos el susto y las dificultades por no haber electricidad. Angela, her husband Luis and their son Jorje-Luis are all you need when you arrive in Camagüey. They are very friendly, but only when you want it, not in any pushy way. The room is independent, clean and very quiet and the breakfast is tiptop. Buy a map, because it takes a while to find your way in the narrow, one-way streets, to get back home after a day out. We were VERY glad we followed the advise of other visitors and asked Angela to make 'ropa vieja' for us. Really delicious !

Super logement indépendant au calme et à proximité immédiate à pied du centre-ville de Camaguey.
Angela et Luis, ainsi que leur fils sont adorables et attentionnés.
Tout ça contribue à ce qu'on se sente comme à la maison.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
