Vicente and his family were great hosts and made our stay in Havana enjoyable. Vicente was one of the most helpful and kindest hosts we met during our 2 week trip in Cuba. It really helps that Vicente speaks English and he is willing to share tips about travelling in Cuba. He was also very kind and offered to smoke cigars with him whilst having interesting conversations. Furthermore, Vicente has a lot of contacts of other hosts in Vinales, Trinidad etc. so he gave us lots of business cards which made finding casas much easier.
The rooms are in a big house in Central Havana (the real Havana) - our room was clean, with air conditioning, bathroom and kitchen - perfectly suiting all our needs. Vicente provides very good breakfast with lots of fruit. All in all, we would definitely recommend staying at Vicente's and are very thankful for his hospitality!

I had booked a room with two beds and when I arrived I was put into a different room with only one bed which he explained was because of a mix up, but when they saw I wasn't completely happy with the room they fixed it by adding in another bed and doing their best to make the room comfortable for us. Otherwise the room was fine, the location is great and they were very helpful in our arrangements for the rest of our trip in Cuba.

My room was booked and confirmed before arrival. I arrived and he said he was full and he sent me across the street to a different casa. I would not recommend booking with him this is unacceptable.
