Rosa Maria was a wonderful host. The Casa is perfectly located and very lovely equipped. Beside this, Rosa is fluently in english and a very good guide. If we are in Cuba again, we will come back. See you then

We had the pleasure of staying with Rosa Maria and her family in Cienfuegos for one night, but we wished we could have stayed for longer! Rosa Maria is a very friendly person and it's clear that she takes great care of her guests. She also has a 3-year-old daughter who is very fun and is learning English! Rosa Maria speaks very good English too, so if your Spanish is not good then you'll be OK.
The room where we stayed was very clean and tidy, and contained two beds, a fridge, air conditioning, a television and a private bathroom with a shower. The apartment also included Internet access (needing a Nauta card which is required everywhere in Cuba) which was extremely useful. The location is to the south of the city centre, however the walk from the apartment is very pleasant along the seafront. It is also very close to the Palacio de Valle, which is a great place for a drink with nice views over the city and sea.
We decided to have dinner at the apartment and I can honestly say that it was one of the most delicious meals that I had during my entire stay in Cuba! My girlfriend and I enjoyed it greatly, and it was very reasonably priced. We had rice with black bean sauce, fish, banana chips, fresh fruits and juice and a salad. We were also offered dessert, which I am sure would also have been delicious, but the dinner was so filling that neither of us could manage any more! If you're staying with Rosa Maria then you have to give this a try!
Rosa Maria was very helpful and accommodating too, and was always happy to answer our questions about places to visit in Cienfuegos and what kind of prices to pay for taxis.
If you're staying in Cienfuegos then I would highly recommend staying with Rosa Maria!
