We live in the center of the capital of Havana in Centro Habana, Cuba. Modern border zone (warren) and the oldest part (Old Havana).
We have a condo, on the ground floor of the building with two apartments, rent an independent apt and the other where we live my husband and I rented a room. The apartment rent is composed by living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, one double and one double in each can add an extra single bed free of charge, each with its private bathroom with shower cold and hot water 24 hours, the maximum capacity in the apartment is 6 people. Has TV, telephone, refrigerator, air conditioning, iron, hair dryer, electricity 110-220, equipped kitchen with necessary if you are interested prepare their food. The other bedroom with private bath has a double bed and other amenities, total 3 rooms are rented.
We are a marriage of 28 years of marriage, my husband is dedicated to the maintenance and upkeep of the apartments and work in the Library of the Museum of Music, in addition to meeting the income and guide the host (guide them on the walk to the city , propose sites to visit, help them coordinate nature excursions and beach in places like Viñales, Soroa, La Moca, Las Terrazas, the Playa del Este and Varadero, to take advantage of their stay and can visit as many places as possible.
Very close to the house, just 200 meters from the Trillo Park, where they can access the wiffi is, I at home have wiffi and internet can access them but through my PC, also is the Palacio de la Rumba and Hamel alley, places where they can enjoy live music and Afro-Cuban dances. You can also visit the House of Music, the Restaurant Bar El Gato Tuerto, The Fox and the Raven where download Jazz and Cuban music are made.
Other sites can easily walk and enjoy good Cuban music are: The Parisien at the Hotel Nacional with excellent Show, disco Pico Blanco at the Hotel Saint Jhont, the Turquino at the Habana Libre Hotel in the light of the stars the Tower and the Emperor two excellent Restaurant-Bar located in the Focsa building, one on the top floor with a beautiful and impressive view of the city and the other in the basement of the building.

About the Area
Our house is located on the street Espada No. 358, apartment 1, between Calle Neptuno and Calle San Miguel, north of the city, in a quiet and safe neighborhood, near the Malecón, 3 km from the historical part of the city, close to bars, restaurants, cinemas, museums, shops, cafes, hospitals, hotels, the University of Havana, and just two minutes walk from the bus and taxi lines.

House Rules
In Rooms can only get people who have booked. Visits must be addressed in the main hall, the payment is made in cash to the guest's arrival to housing, includes cleaning every 3 days, towels changed every 2 days and light breakfast.

La pasamos muy bien con Liliana y Gustavo durante nuestra estadía de una semana en La Habana. Tienen muchas recomendaciones y buenas ideas. Y es tan lindo que el Malecón esté tan cerca. Muchas gracias a Liliana y Gustavo!!

Had a really nice stay at Lily and Gustavos place. The breakfast Lilly makes is also great! 5 cuc. Im also staying after my time using homestay but trough them directly so you can get a bit smaller price. Staying longtime here. Overall happy with my stay and it’s very clean also.

La casa è pulita e comoda per raggiungere diversi punti di interesse. Lily è gentile e disponibile per ogni informazione utile al soggiorno, ha pensato lei a contattare tassisti per raggiungere Vinales e per spostarci il giorno dopo a Playa Gyron. Consigliata!

The most wonderful place to stay in La Habana - better than hotels with three stars. We loved it, we loved especially Lily and Gustavo, they were absolutely kind and lovely people! We will stay at their habitacion also at our next trip, y entonces vamos a ser cinco chicas de Finlandia :)
The house is very clean, beds are good, they have renovated the place, and still keep renovating little by little.

Lily and Gustavo were wonderful! We felt very welcome, safe and at home. The location is close to everything and we could walk to Old Havana easily.
It was very comfortable with aire conditioning and a fan, en suite bathroom and the kindest family you will find.
We will definitely stay with them next time!

I stayed with Lily and Gustavo with my two friends for a week. They welcomed us into their home with open arms. They were very helpful and made great suggestions as to what to do in Havana. Anything we needed, they were happy to help. We would love to come back some time, but learn a bit more Spanish first!! I would definitely recommend staying here - great location and great people.

We had a wonderful stay with Liliana and her husband. They are both very sweet people. We were only supposed to stay 3 nights in Havana but I caught a cold right before our trip so I was very sick while there and we needed to stay 7 nights instead. We were lucky they were able to accommodate us and Lilly went out of her way to help me with tea and honey, cold medicine, and big yummy breakfasts every morning. We even wanted to stay there again on our last night before flying back home but I hadn't told her soon enough and she was booked. Their place is very clean and comfortable and is in a very safe centrally located area. Will be making another trip there in the future as I wasn't able to do much while in Havana because of the cold but would love to stay with them again!

How do I book?

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
