We are Ingrid and Alberto, owners of Gran Terraza Miramar. We are both professionals with PhD, who are now dedicated to rent our house and make our guests feel the upmost comfort and safety during their stay in La Habana. We speak fluent spanish, english and french. Our sons are adults and live by their own, so we are alone in the house. We live in Miramar, the best neighborhood in Havana, famous for its quietness, safety and beauty and at the same time near the Malecón ocean drive and the historical parts of the city.
Our privacy makes our house an ideal place to stay during your trip. Perfect for relaxing, and at the same time surrounded by restaurants, discos and bars if you enjoy nightlife. It always has hot and cold water, electric generator, safety box and private guests telephone. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. Parking for 2 cars guarded by security personnel.
Our house has a big roof garden-terrace with a great view of the sea. It also has a porch, living room, dining room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. The roof-garden-terrace can be used for parties and receptions. 8 guests in a pleasant atmosphere, near downtown, discos and restaurants. The house is perfect for several couples, adventure group, business travelers, families with children and varied groups up to six persons.

About the Area
Our house is located on the north part of the city of Havana, very near the ocean and at 15 minutes drive of the historical parts of the city. In the nearby we have the famous 5th Ave. where you can find the city’s most beautiful and imposing residences, as well as gorgeous diplomatic houses. A tunnel links Miramar to Vedado and the rest of Havana. We provide taxi services when needed.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
In the house the rent apartment is upstairs with all facilities. We live downstairs of the house. The guests have their privacy and at the same time they can freely relate with us.
Guests may have visitors who are received by the 24 hours doorman.
No pets allowed.
The house is rented up to 6 persons including children.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is allowed indoors and outdoors.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
