Welcome to Lunass Apartment, a modern apartment placed in the centre of Havana! We are very close to Old Havana , just 5 minutes walking .
We are just 150 meters from the Malecon ( the sea ) , 5 minuts walking to old Havana and just 20 minutes walking distance from Vedado.
Casa Lunass only wishes that you enjoy your stay but also to help you with everything we can so that you have a great time during your vacation here in La Habana .
To say Downtown is to think about our house; everything is very near. All the places of interest to tourists are within walking distance, both the historical central area and the busiest part where the theatres, cinemas, bars, Mojitos, traditional music, discos and jazz houses. After all that has been mentioned, there is no need for you to think it over.
The apartment offers you a great place to sleep as well as breakfast and dinner, and laundry service.

We are a small building with only 3 floors, very elegant and clean. Our apartment of accommodations consists of a living room and dining room where you can feel relaxed and where we offer to you all the freedom you would want while you stay here.
There is TV, video, music centre and phone.
We rent two rooms with prive bathroom ; One of them being a double bed and a single bed and the other with double bed. In your room you will find a warm and hospitable ambience. Relax on our beautiful balcony and take in some sun. The bath has cold and warm water 24 hours of the day.
In Lunass not allow the presence of nocturnal visitors to sleep in the rooms. This decision is based on ensuring the safety of the client itself and the other guests. It also helps maintain the tranquility of our guest house and family atmosphere that characterizes us.

ARRIVAL DINNER previously booked by email so you do not have to worry about about finding a place to eat the night of arrival to the hostel.

Beautiful rooms, great amenities! We were disappointed that we got 170 pesos for 1 euro, while in the rest of Cuba we got 200 pesos or more for 1 euro. This was our first address, so we didn't know. We did not feel treated fairly about this afterwards.

Thank you for the compliments regarding the house, we try very hard to make them the best quality possible.Regarding money exchange:
As in all the countries of the World and within the same City there are different Exchange Rates and Cuba is no exception.
Due to the inflation that exists in our country, prices vary constantly in the INFORMAL MARKET. In Banks and ATMs, the value of the change is always less than anywhere else.
Here in our house we offer you a higher change than that offered by Banks or ATMs, it is also higher than the change in Bars and Restaurants. It is not compulsory that they change us, it is just a service that we offer.You forgot to write that in the Banks, ATMs, Airport (official places the change is 123 pesos for one euro) and that we sent you an email before your arrival in the country so that they would not lose money and to bring cash to change at Cuban pesos because we advise them to do so since in Cuba everything is in cash and if they did not bring money they would lose a lot taking out Cuban pesos worth only 123 Cuban pesos from the ATMs.
That you could change your euros to 170, 200 or more is thanks to our advice. No, you were not treated fairly, because it would be fair if they changed like everyone else at a rate of 123 pesos, you were treated in a privileged way because not all Hosts send their clients an explanation of the country's economic situation. Thanks to us you had the possibility to come economically prepared. Thanks to our advice before coming and after being in Havana, they were able to save a lot of money because we gave them printed advice on where to go to eat cheaper, where to take the best, safest and cheapest transport. The best free city tour. It is to us that it seems unfair to omit all these details. When something is told, it is fully counted. If it wasn't for us, they wouldn't have known that in Cuba there is an informal market where cash is exchanged for more.
It was his decision to change us 25 euros. We even told them that on the street they could find other people who would exchange money for them. As you say, it was your first address and as the days went by, the change went up. Yes, it was your first address and it is unfair that they write that they did not know when we gave you the key to the rooms, but no, we spent almost an hour explaining every detail of Cuba and the City. Your comment is unfair because we even taught them how to detect counterfeit money if they changed on the street.
We spent a really long time explaining everything to them. Yes, you knew everything !!!Thanks to us, you paid for a very cheap taxi for 6 people, which was better than paying for two taxis to get from the airport to the house. We take care of them in every detail.
They were so privileged that children are not accepted in our Host and they came with 4 children and we did not close the doors of our house or cancel the reservation.

We had such wonderful stay. The apartment is beautiful and was such a luxury after staying in hostels! Yamilee is really kind and helpful and although we didn't speak much Spanish we still felt very comfortable and welcome. Thank you so much!

In one word.... Amazing!!!! A wonderful and warm hearted host and a beautiful home. I felt more then Welcome during my stay. With a lot of information and help about Havana Vieja. So would i recommend this place, absolutely. You won't regret it. Thank you Yamilee.

A great location in Habana Centro. Accommodation was comfortable and Yamilee (and the puppy dogs) were very hospitable. One word of caution, the apartment is on the 4th floor so there are lots of stairs to carry luggage. Don't let this stop you though if you're able-bodied.

Our stay with Yamilee was great, the house was in a very good location close to many great restaurants. Our room had everything we needed with fans, air conditioning, a fridge and hot water. Yamilee was very kind and welcoming and made sure we were looked after. She spoke very good English and was a great help with any questions or extra help that we needed.

We only stayed for one night but had a wonderful day stay. Yamilee was very helpful and organised taxi's for us to the airport. She was able to provide us with recommendations for where to eat. We just wished we had longer there!

How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
