About the Area
Hostel in the most central and historic street of Old Havana, a stone's throw from the Floridita and Central Park. We offer 4 majestic rooms with all comforts, cold and hot water with high pressure and spacious terraces. We also rent an independent apartment on the first floor, with living room, equipped kitchen and terrace.
The family does not live at home but we always have a person in charge of attending to their needs.
We provide porter service, because the house is on the first floor, city tours with departure 10.00 am every day and our personalized attention.

The host family was very friendly and tried to accommodate my wife and me as well as possible. It is really a nice place to stay. The problem was that Maylim is not the host family, but an intermediary. As a result, false information about the length of stay has been incorrectly transmitted by us to the host family. This meant we had to move to another room every day in 3 days. In addition, the agent requires a transfer of the room costs in advance to a bank in Chile. I only got one name (BIC) of the bank in Santiago and no SWIFT code. There is a bank in Santiago with that name, but this was the wrong bank. Thus, additional costs were incurred by us to reverse the transfer.

Nous avons d'abord constaté que la chambre que nous avions réservé était en fait déjà occupée
Maylim peu aimable nous a d'abord dit qu'on s'était trompé de date ( ce qui était faux)
Elle nous a quand même trouvé une autre chambre dans le même quartier mais peu reluisante : aucune aération, mauvaise odeur, une seule lucarne en hauteur
Télévision bruyante dans la pièce d'à côté au milieu de la nuit
Bref un logement à oublier ...Host reply

We had a nice clean room. However it was not in the same building as advertised or room and no explanation as to why it wasn't the same as was booked. Idania was not the host.

The location is the best. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean. There is a stylish terrace. Although it is charged, it is convenient because you can use Wi - Fi .

Casa molto carina e pulita ,centralissima in habana veja.
Colazione molto semplice, ma servita in terrazza.
Il giorno del Check out, ci hanno lasciato la stanza fino alle 15.30 , senza supplemento!

Abbiamo prenotato questa casa particular, ma al nostro arrivo la camera non era disponibile. Era stata affittata ad altre persone. Questa casa è gestita con l'aiuto di un'agenzia che gestisce anche altre sistemazioni. Al nostro arrivo questa persona ci ha contattato presso la casa dove avevamo fatto la prenotazione per poi spostarci in un'altra casa

Mi spiace per l'accaduto, ma spiegare loro personalmente che la casa non garantisce spazio se non a pagamento, è estubo a Cuba 18 giorni senza internet e non ho potuto effettuare il trasferimento di denaro e ho ignorato quella piazza, avendo alcuna risposta da lui la camera era occupata.
Io sono la persona che risponde al prenotazione on-line lo stesso di quello spiegato quello che è successo, ho controllato le regole per il pagamento della casa e chiaramente afferma che è necessario pagare almeno la prima notte per la vostra camera è garantita.
Ho pensato che il problema era chiaro, non era sbagliato di noi pensava che aiutando con un sacco di diverso e il downgrade loro il prezzo della camera era stato soddisfatto.
E mi sento nessun rimpianto.August 2017

Tuvimos problemas a la llegada por una confusión en la reserva pero se soluciono rápido, gracias la casa de Mimi e Oscar, nos la pasamos genial, muy contentos por que te hacen sentir como en familia. Dayana gracias por ubicarnos facilmente con estas personas.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
