About the Homestay
I am journalist and my wife Verónica is a teacher of Spanish and Literature. We are retired and we enjoy meeting people from all over the world and making them feel like at home. We recommend places of interest and provide recommendations for walking around the city, preventions and information of the history and culture of our beautiful island.
The guests will have a duplex apartment, which is part of the main house where we live. It is private and independent. Upper level: bedroom with air conditioning and a private bathroom (cold and hot water). Lower level: dining room, living room, digital TV, kitchen with refrigerator, gas stove, rice cooking and other accesories for cooking. Receptions: 24 hours.
We give our guests independence, but we are available if they need us, to offer guidance and advice to them.
There is a cleaning service periodically and changing of towels and bedding. Cleaning, security, peacefulness and complete privacy are guaranteed. The phone service (local calls) is included on the price of the booking.
If our guests want to travel to other provinces or places (Viñales, Trinidad, ect) we look for accommodations for them. Also, we look for collective taxis so our guests can travel in a comfortable and economical way.

The Casa is located just next to the beach promenade Malecón and Fabrica del Arte which is worth visiting. It’s located on a quiet street. There is an own access to the room, which also includes an own living room with a small kitchen. José, Verónica and their son Alden are very lovely and helpful. Alden speaks good English and is there to help when the guests stay at his parents casa. If you don’t want to stay just in the city centre of Havana, Casa Vero is the right place to go to!
What a great couple, helpful, accommodating, loving, it was a great pleasure to stay at their place!!!
Jose, Veronica and their son Aldo were so welcoming and helpful. The stay was very comfortable and they made our first few nights in Havana, Cuba very special! We highly recommend staying with these lovely people!
The days we visited Havana we're awesome, and one of the reasons was the personal service that Jose and Veronica delivered us. However we booked a 'Casa Particular', it felt like an all-inclusive resort including a personal touch.
This guest awarded the host 4 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
WoW is the word that describes Vero & Joses house. It is an apt for you alone, super independent. You have your own entrance decorated very tastefully and elegant. With dining and living room and full kitchen facilities. I've travelled to Cuba more than 6 times and this is the best apt. The hosts are awesome as well they are very caring and helpful with great stories. They are also world travellers so you'll feel right at home.
