Apartment in first level of building 3 levels, furniture and decoration of the time, with glass terrace very illuminated from where you can taste an excellent Cuban cafe with the sun of Cuba. We share the property and all the information that guests need to ensure that they can feel like part of our family.
Habana 1950 is located in the heart of Havana, in one of the most important neighborhoods of the capital, specifically in Havana Center.From here you can visit many important places full of history and culture.In our house you can get to know the genuine Cuba and enjoy with an excellent Cuban coffee; welcomed by a cheerful family that will make you feel at home. About the Area
Our House is located in a residential neighborhood in the style of the era of the 1950s, with buildings of 3 levels and houses of the time, we are very close to main avenues like Avenida de la Independencia and Avenida Tulipan. We have just a few minutes to the main tourist destinations of the city. It is very easy and cheap to move to any point of the City.

When we arrived the apartment was occupied and the host wasn’t there. We were left on the street for a while until their neighbour came and eventually helped us get into the family’s spare vacant apartment down the road. It was dusty and the air conditioning unit leaked a huge puddle on the floor but we were glad to have somewhere to stay. There was no host and no breakfast. The family had very broken English but were great in driving us to the bus stop. Location is quite far out of the way of everything -about 20min walk into New Havana and 40min walk into Old Havana (where all the tourist action is).

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
