Two-floor apartment located in one of the most beautiful areas of the city of Havana; It offers a spacious, ventilated and clear colonial room with balcony towards the emblematic bay of Havana. On the upper floor there are two large terraces with a beautiful view of the bay.
Located in the Callejón de los Peluqueros, headquarters of the Art Court Project, between 150 and 800 meters away from the main squares, museums and other places of interest in Old Havana, such as the National Capitol, the Gran Teatro Alicia Alonso, the Museum of the Revolution, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Cathedral and the Malecón habanero. It allows easy communication by taxis or buses to any other place in the city and the renowned beaches of eastern Havana. In the Callejón de los Peluqueros and neighboring streets, there are multiple services offered by bars, restaurants, hairdressers and art galleries.
Only my husband and I reside in the house, recently retired professionals of Law and Psychology respectively. We have some knowledge of the Italian language.
The guests can also have access to the living room, parlor, dining room and kitchen of the house as if they were in family.
We share the house with the guests and offer a light breakfast included in the cost. If you want a more complete breakfast the cost will be 5.00 cuc per person

About the Area
Our house is north of the city, in its most tourist area that is the Historic Center. Very close to the main museums and colonial squares. There are bars and restaurants within reach of different economies. There are also shopping centers, salsa schools, sweetshops, ice cream shops, hairdressers, art galleries and handicrafts.
Surrounded by cultural centers, it is worth highlighting the Alicia Alonso Theater, formerly García Lorca Grand Theater, home of the National Ballet of Cuba directed by the prima ballerina Alicia Alonso.
15 min. from the bus station and 30 min. From the airport.
The hosts will feel very satisfied with being able to suggest different places to visit and provide other useful tips during their stay

House Rules
You can smoke on the balcony and on the terrace, not inside the house. Although access to the house is only for the guests, they may request occasional authorization to receive visits from other tourists.

Our stay with Lucia was top notch, fabulous location in the old town with a rooftop room and a magnificent view of the harbour and the castles. As a Cuba Junky for 15 years this is is in my top 5 casas to stay at.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
