Welcome to La Casa Maila, we are in the heart of the capital in the Centro Habana municipality (between Vedado and the old and beautiful Old Havana), a few blocks from the emblematic University of Havana, the wonderful Havana Malecón. It is close to banks (with their respective ATMs and exchange office), cafes, bars and restaurants, commercial stores, gas stations, bus stops, parks (Trillo park), etc.
We are a friendly family, helpful at all times, we respect the space for our guests and we are always available. Our house has private rooms with bathroom inside, air conditioning, common areas, access to 24-hour Wifi service. We also provide breakfast services occasionally for an extra fee.

Maila è stata una padrona di casa eccezionale. Non solo ti ospita nella sua casa, in camera con bagno privato e cassaforte, ma è una miniera di informazioni. Ci ha aiutato nell'organizzazione della nostra vacanza di 15 gg prenotando a nome nostro le case particulares a Cienfuegos, Trinidad e Varadero. Ci ha finito indicazioni per il cambio, le tessere WiFi, escursioni e mille raccomandazioni per i turisti. E non parliamo della colazione: una tavola piena di frutta fresca, frullati, dolci, caffè con latte e poi ti chiede se vuoi altro! Questa era la prima esperienza nelle case particulares, ma la raccomando sicuramente. Persone molto serie che tengono tantissimo ai clienti.

We stayed in Maila Alicias casa for one night. Maila and Luis were very polite and helped us to organize the transport to the airport. We had a very big and tasty breakfast :) The room was fine and the apartment is next to a wifi-hotspot. We needed just 10 minutes by feet to reach the Malecon.

Très bon séjour à La Havane. Appartement très bien, moderne et très propre. Bien équipé avec des chambres très confortables. Bien situé au centre de la ville entre la vielle ville et le quartier neuf. Très bonne ambiance avec Alicia qui est est à nos petits soins. A recommander.

We had a wonderful time at Mailas apartment, you will love the place, the family and the food!!!
We we‘re warmly welcomed, they helped us finding the right spots to visit, offered a tidy nice room and prepared so great food for us! The Malecon is around 5 min away, for the center it’s around 20min by foot.
We spent new year with the family and felt like at home! Thank you for this great experience we‘ll never forget!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
