A nice, clean place, 30 metres from the beautifull beach!
Very kind people who can help you book all kind off excursions (diving, snorkeling, national park)
Wifi, airco and good beds, everything you need.
Alexis was very Nice, very enthousiastic! And very helpfull!
Best room we had in Cuba. Clean, modern, almost like a hotel. Nice breakfast and nice people, Alexis is the host and he arranged a nice tour through the swamp for us with a guide, which was very nice! Muchas gracias!
Dignora and alexis are the perfect hosts! The casa is perfect would recommend them any day
Nice people, nice location 2-3 minutes on foot from playa Caleton and walking distance (about 15-20 minutes on foot) from Playa Larga. The breakfast was satisfying (with a more simple "small version" and a more complete "large version") and Alexis helped us book a Zapata national park walk which also was a cool thing to do. Would recommend it. It was more of a hotel than a casa since they had 5-6 independent rooms.
Thank you Dignora for all your tips., snorkeling was great.
The place is perfect, next to the beach, good breakfast.
This hostal (not a casa particular) has comfortable, air conditioned rooms with decent beds.
Breakfast was great. We also had diner once (lobster and fish) but felt a bit disappointed because it was mediocre and we expected it to be great after reading all comments here.
Location of the hostal is good, near the beach and a bay where boats are moored, not far from one of the more active streets of the village.
Alexis is super friendly and will make sure to help you with any concerns, problems or small requests you may have.
I had a nice stay at Dignora‘s place.
Everyone is friendly, helpful and made me feel very comfortable.
The room is big, clean and you have everything you need.
The house is located very Close to the beach and you can reach everything easily by walking.
I would definitely recommend this home!
We spend 2 nights in Playa Larga at Smartbeds hostel. The rooms were very modern, the even had a tv. The room also had a private bathroom, fridge and a very big and comfy bed. The owner of the hostel, Alexis, is a very friendly and spontaneous man, who is very willing to help. He can arrange trips for you, rent you his bicycles (he has 2 very good MTB’s), snorkling gear, or his inflatable kayak. The big breakfast is not included, and is very nice. We also had dinner at this hostel, recommended by fellow backpackers who stayed there as well, and the lobster and fish were delicious. There aren’t that much restaurants at Playa Larga, so it is definitely a big plus.
The room is probably one of the best rooms in Cuba, very clean and up to date.
