The town of Soplillar is located in the Ciénaga de Zapata Biosphere Reserve, which is one of the most important regions of the country since it is the largest and best conserved wetland of the insular Caribbean. It presents a rich biodiversity and a high endemism in its flora and fauna that testify the world importance of this region in which Soplillar is part, attractive and charming terroir and with great historical importance, since in the first one was celebrated Christmas Eve of the triumph of the Revolution where Fidel dined with the charcoal burners. This town owes its name to the proliferation of this botanical species. It is located about 7 km from Playa Larga and 30 km from Playa Girón.
The house has two air-conditioned rooms, private bathroom with hot and cold water. Each room has 2 beds. In the ranchón - bar - parrilla a great variety of meals are offered, the specialty of the house are the roasts to the coal. At the Bar you can taste different rums or the favorite cocktails and traditional Cuban drinks.

    Mariela and Suren welcomed us with open arms and made us a part of their family.They both cooked for us and we had a great time at their nice and fancy House with the big yard with all the animals..Mariela took us around town and we meet family and friends from her. We wished we could stay longer.Thanks for everything

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile.
