We are two lawyers who live in Havana. We have a nice house near the Plaza of the Revolution. We love cooking, cinema and sports and we love animals and plants.

About the Area
Our house is located north of the city, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We are 3km from downtown and only 15 minutes drive from the airport. The nearest bus stop is 2 minutes walk and there are multiple lines connecting this point with the rest of the city.

Très bon accueil, propriétaires très sympathiques et prêts à aider leurs locataires, chambres très propres et bien décorées, petit déjeuner très copieux. à recommander.

Our stay here was good. When we arrived we weren't sure where to ring the bell (it was the upstairs entrance!) but our taxi driver called Jose and he let us in a few minutes later. The room was large and quiet with a decent bathroom. We were only there to sleep as we were picked up the next day for our onward travel. The breakfast was good and there was a lot of it! Thanks Jose

Nous avons passé 1 semaine chez José, c est un super hôte, très accueillant. Toujours de bon conseil, il nous a permis de vraiment découvrir la vie à la Havane. Nous retournerons sans hésiter dans la casa de Tobby. Un séjour merveilleux, allez y les yeux fermés.

Les PLUS : Appartement très propre. Terrasse verdoyante magnifique sur le toit, parfait pour l'apéro !! Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et le petit chien est mignon comme tout. L'air climatisée dans la chambre était très fonctionnel, heureusement :) Bien situé lorsqu'on sait qu'un bus à quelques pas nous amène derrière le Capitol pour 1 CUP à deux ! À quelque minutes à pied de la piscine de l'hôtel Havana Libre pour 25 CUC/personne avec un crédit de 20 CUC sur la nourriture et les boissons, un incontournable avec la chaleur! Également à quelques coins de rue d'un parc wifi. Beau séjour à La Havane :)
LES MOINS: Peu de restaurants à courte distance de marche, à l'exception de Don Pepe (un vrai petit délice à super qualité-prix, un must). Très bruyant la nuit à cause de la gare d'autobus et des bruits ambiants, mais je crois que c'est la même chose un peu partout. Il faut donc des bouchons. Matelas un peu raide, mais on s'y fait.

José is a wonderful host. My family and I stayed a few hours cause we need to return to the airport early morning.
He helped us with the taxi and provided information about the local taxi’s fare.
He prepared a light breakfasts and he was there to be sure that my family and I were are doing okay.

The room is clean, the terrace is pleasant.
The 5CUC breakfast is made of fresh fruits, fresh juice, hot drinks, hot sandwich, omelette and some vegetables.
The house is a bit far of the living part of the Vedado - 10/15mins walk - but the area is very quiet.

Une belle rencontre. Nous avons passé 5 nuits avec ma fille de 16 ans. José habite un quartier agréable à 10mn en taxi du centre historique. De très bons conseils sur les visites, les restaurants et l’organisation des transports. Petits déjeuner copieux. Je vous recommande vivement !
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
