Hyggelig is a hostel designed for the enjoyment and satisfaction of the guest. Wifi is available in all the apartment. The hosts are keen to make guests feel at home. Hyggelig is a word in Danish. Its literal translation would be something like "to feel comfortable in a cozy place", but these words cannot, by any means, capture the essence of Hyggelig; Is something that must be experienced to understand the concept.

Accommodation

Independent apartment, very ventilated and clear. Built in 1954. Located on a first floor on 101A Maceo street between Martí and Julio Jover, Santa Clara city.
This apartment consists of a balcony, a living room, a dining room and a kitchen, two private rooms and a terrace with a panoramic view to the whole city. The rooms, decorated with antique furniture, are air-conditioned, have fan and also natural ventilation. All rooms have safe, smoke detctor, minibar and private bathroom with hot and cold water 24 hours, towels, toilet paper, soap, 110/220 v electricity, hair dryer on request and other amenities. The terrace has a swing, benches and a table for your enjoyment, set with beautiful ornamental plants that cheer and give a nice touch to the place.
We offer a cozy and contemporary atmosphere typical of a Cuban family house. We have 2 comfortable private rooms, with air conditioning and private bathroom. The comfort of the guests, the order and the cleanliness are our accommodation’s policy.
You will love my place due to the comfort of the rooms, the views of the city from a nice terrace and its excellent location.

Services and common areas

You can enjoy common areas such as the spacious lounge, the balcony and the beautiful terrace overlooking the city. Our guests can smoke in the common areas as long as they do not invade other guests' space.

• Taxi service: The hosts manage taxi service to and from Abel Santamaría International Airport, José Martí International Airport, Viazul bus station and cities such as Havana, Trinidad, Varadero, Remedios, Cienfuegos, Cayo Santa Maria and other cities that may interest the client. The rates for this service vary depending on the place and the type of car.
• Meals: We offer breakfast for an extra charge and try to adapt to the requirements of the guests.
• Management of accommodation in other cities: We have very good recommendations of houses and hosts of hostels in other cities in Cuba so if the guest needs it, we can help in the management of accommodation in other cities.
• We have an indoor parking garage for guests' cars. The garage is very safe and the cars are well protected. The charge is 5.00 CUC.

The hosts are available to assist the guests 24 hours in whatever they wish, and will do it with a friendly, helpful, and personalized treatment. You will be informed and the hosts will clarify any doubt or concern about the accommodation and the city in general. Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary coffee, juice or cocktail upon arrival at the hostel.
Each client will be registered in the Tenant Registry Book (as stipulated by Cuban law).

The apartment is located in a very central area, 120 mts from the Boulevard. Close to the historic center and La Caridad Theater. 140 meters from the Tobacco Factory and La Veguita, a shop specializing in the sale of Cuban cigars and Cuban rum. Very close also to the monument where the action of the taking of the Armored Train took place. The beds and sheets are soft and comfortable, there are stunning views and the location is perfect for visiting the city.

Located in the heart of one of the most versatile and busy cities of this island. 400 meters from Leoncio Vidal Park, cultural epicenter of Santa Clara as well as the Boulevard, one of the main arteries that includes shops, bars and restaurants. Located on a main and very busy street. In addition, you will find indispensable services such as ATMs, exchange offices, banks, public wi-fi, tourism bureaus and health centers. Likewise you will find very close to our home restaurants, bookstores, nightclubs, museums and cinemas.
