The centrally located Sarmiento accommodation offers two directly opposite options: a traditional family-run house and a smart new boutique-style hotel. The latter has its own reception, bar open 24 hours, terrace, a la carte restaurant and room service amidst minimalist design features.
Among the properties there are eight rooms, very well lit, modern and comfortably furnished with modern private bathrooms each.
The rooms and bathrooms, are prepared with sheets, pillows, blanket to sleep, carpets, towels, soap, toilet paper. In addition to TV, air conditioning, telephone, hair dryer and safe.
Hostess Elizabeth is a fantastic cook who offers some of the most innovative foods in Cuba, while the host Carlos is a driver-guide, he is also a professional photographer and videographer and a mine of information about everything in Cuba.
English spoken Internet via Wi-Fi is available on both sites.
So expect an award-winning combination of personal service with private spaces.

About the Area
Just a few 120 meters from the main square of the city, the Vidal Park, in an area where the main restaurants, bars, shopping centers and craft shops of the city are located. 0.8 km from the Monument to the Armored Train and 1.3 km from the monument and mausoleum to Che. Santa Clara, is not a big city, just 1/4 million inhabitants, our position makes us have all the historical, cultural and social places of interest a few steps from us. We make scheduled trips to lakes, rivers with waterfalls and natural pools, beaches, colonial cities, areas for photography to endemic and migratory species and birds, etc.
The street where our properties are located is a quiet, secondary street without traffic as it ends on the Boulevard, so the cars that travel only are those that go straight to it and not passing through other streets, it is not a street pedestrian, but all go down the street because of the little traffic that results.

House Rules
• Parking service: outside our house, right on the street, a man takes care of the rental cars during the night. He charges 2.00 CUC and you must pay him directly. We help in communication with men, but we are not responsible for car care.
• Laundry service: we offer laundry service, but unfortunately we can not allow guests to use our washing machine, it is in a private place of the house and it must be operated by accustomed users. Deliver your clothes at the reception between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and pick it up at 6:00 p.m. Service fees change according to the amount between 5.00 and 10.00 CUC.
• Taxi service: Due to the difficulty of transportation in Cuba, we manage the taxi service to and from the Abel Santamaría International Airport, the José Martí International Airport, the Viazul Bus Station and cities such as Havana, Trinidad, Varadero, Cienfuegos and more. The rates for this service depend on the season and the car class, and we are not responsible for the prices.
• Meals: we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Any type of special diet must be informed by the guests upon arrival.
• City Tours: a specialized guide, is available to offer historical tours of the city between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The charge for this service is 25.00 CUC and must be paid directly to him.
• Accommodation management in other cities: during the time we have been working we have received very good recommendations from houses and hosts in other provinces, so if the guest needs it we can help in the management of accommodation in other provinces.
• Guest's rights: our guests have the right to: 1. a friendly, helpful and personalized service, 2. clarification of any question or concern about the accommodation and the city in general, 3. Free coffee or tea during your stay, 4. to be registered in the Tenant Registration Book (as stipulated by Cuban Cuban Immigration Authorities) 5. to get help from the hosts in case of inconvenience during their stay. 6. request daily room service at no additional charge 7. access to common areas 8. be referred by name, 9. receive clean room and bathroom, 10. clean sheets and towels, 11. request, at no additional charge, the administration of local and national long distance calls, provided that it does not exceed 5 minutes, which in this case will be charged according to the island's rates.
• We are very committed to saving natural resources, so we ask our guests not to leave the air conditioning when they are out of the room, using only the water they need and cooperating with our reuse towel policy.
• The loss of each key will be charged to the guest at 5.00 CUC.
• In Cuba it is very difficult and expensive to obtain any of the items we offer for the enjoyment of our guests, so we ask you to be careful. The fee for negligent breakage will be reduced to a minimum of 20.00 CUC and the rate will increase depending on the cost of the item. This does not include items of low value such as cups and coffee cups.
• We have managed to gather an efficient work team of great human quality, each of us works hard to please our guests, whose welfare we are very committed to, so we request that the treatment to us be kind and respectful, we thank all "good morning", "thank you" and "see you later"
• Cuba is a country where solving a technical problem can take a couple of hours, in case it happens, we sincerely ask our guests to be patient.
• Our guests can smoke in the courtyard of the house, as long as they do not affect the space of other guests.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
