It is a quiet house with comfort, is in the center of the city two blocks from the park lawns, is in the center of the historic center. In the hostel only my wife and daughter live, my sister and her two children are very communicative, honest, the house has 4 terraces, 2 patios, 6 double rooms, corridor, lobby, restaurant, has internet access, speaks English and French.
There is a 24-hour gastronomic service, in addition to a taxi service available for guests at any time and anywhere in the city or outside.

Jorge is a very kind host.the house location is perfect but,the room was very very small with a noisy air conditioning device!! the room was completely different form what you see in the internet!!! breakfast was not more than ok. our experiene was between"disliked to adequate".

The room is clean but not the one we booked or on the photo as room 2. Jorge is very friendly and the location is amazing. We slept however close to the kitchen and got woken up by a blender at 6 AM one night. Furthermore the airconditioning is pretty loud and the breakfast is ok. All in all this is a decent hostel on a good location.

Our stay at Jorge‘s place was really nice. His house has the perfect location to explore the city. He and his wife were very welcoming and you can get breakfast for 3 CUC at anytime you wish.

We had a great stay at Santiago de Cuba, the owner is really nice and speaks English. He can help you with anything. It’s near the citycentre.

How do I book?
Contact the host about your stay - tell them a little about yourself, why you are staying and ask any questions you have about their homestay. You will be able to book immediately after sending your message.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
