A place to enjoy the fullness of nature, be at peace and
tranquility It has a river and is surrounded by mountains. Also it is a family business, offering a very personalized service, and seek to leave a mark. Both customers and the hosts, as a result of time share and relationships to flourish. The owner of the house lives on the property and is available 24 hours to help our customers and a light breakfast, included in the room price is offered.
Place attractions
1. The main attraction of the area is the direct contact with nature and Its beauty. The house is surrounded by mountains and rivers, is a special place to fully enjoy the silence, the smell of fresh air and the scenery more cute across Cuba. A special place to get in touch with some delicious FFI.
2.Guests can enjoy the tourist facilities are around Soroa, waterfall, viewpoint "El Mirador", the Orchid Garden, the Castle of the Clouds, the different trails, pool, shops, restaurants, horses riding, etc.
3.Very close to the house is the Studio Art from one of the MOST famous painters of Cuba: Jesus Gastel. Guests can visit the study and enjoy and / or purchase their artwork.
4. Also we are very near to Las Terrazas where you will enjoy the biosphere reserve, the Moka Hotel and its facilities, the San Juan River, trails, guided tours to see the beauty (birds, plants, etc.) of the place excursions, Camping, Canopy, tobacco factory, etc.
5. Exchanges With the community. We offer a tour of some Neighboring Communities and farmers in the area can see first hand how They live, think and dream the poorest Cubans, Who are Generally living in the countryside.
6. Mountain climbing, bike tours or horseback along the road Soroa and in some nearby villages.

You can Also get in VíaAzul or using the (not recommended) public transport to go from Havana to Candelaria, Candelaria and take routes That Go to Soroa.

Our house is 3 kilometers from the hotel Soroa and 11 of the National (Cupet Soroa) motorway. We are an hour from Havana. It is a special place to enjoy the fullness of nature, surrounded by mountains and rivers. Footprints Guimart is a family home, with personalized service to ITS customers.

Jorge and Maria are lovely people! The dinner Maria prepares is incredibale! The best dinner we had in Cuba. For real. We would recommend this place to everybody who loves nature and want to experiens to be a part of a lovely family.
Jorge y Maria son personas muy amable! La cena preperando por Maria es increible! Lo mas mejor que comemos en todo el Cuba. De verdad! Nos recordamos este casa a todo que le gustan la naturaleza y quieren la experiencia para ser un parte de un familia cariñosa.

We stayed two nights at Jorge's house. We learned a lot about the life in Cuba talking to Jorge.
Jorge and his wife were very welcoming and the meals were delicious. Jorge was very helpful to find us ways to go to the cities.Gracias por todo !

It was very nice there and Jorge and his famliy are very friendly. Unfortunatly we don‘t speek spanish and so it was sonetimes a bit difficult for us to communicate.
The rooms are clean and you will enjoy the traditional food with the family.
They will help you with a tour to Las Terazzas and even with taxis to any other place.August 2017
La estancia en este alojamiento ha sido muy positiva.
Cabe destacar su maravilloso entorno, en una de las zonas más ricas en naturaleza del país, lo que ayuda a vivir un tipo de experiencia diferente.
La hospitalidad y amabilidad de Jorge y su esposa María hizo que nos sintiéramos como en casa, facilitándonos las cosas en todo momento.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
