Maria has 10 years of experience in the accommodation business. She is an excellent hostess, charismatic, simple, discreet and pays attention to the smallest detail. But its greatest grace lies in the exquisite meals it prepares, particularly its exclusive vegetable soup.
The house is located a few blocks from the Historic Center of the City of Trinidad, a World Heritage Site, also known as the Museum City of the Caribbean Sea. In its surroundings you can enjoy multiple attractions but the most striking is the colonial architecture of the town, which remains almost unchanged since its construction in the 16th century. On the other hand, there are several museums such as the emblematic Museo Romántico or Palacio Brunet; the History Museum; of architecture; of Archaeology; among others; as well as the "Benito Ortiz" Art Gallery. Very close to the house there are state and private restaurants that offer exquisite meals for all tastes. The internet cafe is also located just two blocks from the house.
They have 4 bedrooms, two of them with period furniture like the rest of the house and the others are designed in a modern, very sober and charming style, with access to a large terrace. All rooms have two beds, split, private bathroom and hot and cold water 24 hours, as well as a safe. Guests are also managed optional activities such as diving, horseback riding, bicycle rental and Spanish and dance classes.

La casa di Maria è situata in una posizione eccellente per visitare Trinidad. E'una casa storica padronale, molto curata nei particolari, con un bel cortile interno e diversi spazi per un vero relax. Le stanze sono molto confortevoli, grandi, arredate con cura, con letti grandi e comodi, provviste di cassette di sicurezza e frigo. I bagni sono piccoli, ma curati. Grande pulizia. Ottima prima colazione nel patio. Abbiamo anche cenato una notte in casa e la qualità del cibo è molto buona, a prezzi giusti. Maria è veramente gentile, così come tutto il personale della casa. Nel complesso, veramente un ottimo livello di ospitalità.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
