The hostel Palmeras is a modern 2 levels, located in a quiet neighborhood in the city of Trinidad. 4 blocks distant Céspedes Park, central area of the city, where is ETECSA, the internet service provider and wifi of the town; and 6 blocks from the Monument Zone. At the entrance of the house is a parking area not covered with capacity for 2 cars, whose use is included in the room rate. At the first level family lives but has large common areas and ventilated for the enjoyment of tourists with a spacious terrace and patio for leisure with chairs, tables, swing. 2 spacious air-conditioned rooms are rented on the second level, with comfortable beds and large windows provide excellent natural ventilation. It exists in the pantry a collective refrigerator stocked with beer, soft drinks, water and drinks. In addition, a terrace and a suitable hall to enjoy a deserved rest. The fixed phone is provided free for local calls and ensure the next destinations. Pedrín and Mary, the hosts speak English well for their work experience in the hotel. Book this house and enjoy an unforgettable adventure in the village museum in the Caribbean.

We had a brilliant stay with María and Pedro, their hospitality was wonderful. We were made to feel at home straight away, given loads of information about the local area and lots of help to organise day trips. The breakfast was lovely, as was the meal we had at the Casa one evening.
We will certainly recommend this Casa to anyone who goes to Trinidad in Cuba.

Our stay with Maria and Pedro was fantastic. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and they were excellent, friendly hosts. Maria's breakfasts were the perfect way to start the day, with fresh juices, fruit, pancakes and delicious cheese and ham toasties! We had dinner one evening and again the food was of a very high standard. I'd definitely recommend eating with them on at least one evening. Their home is in a great location, just a short walk to Trinidad's centre, but far enough to be away from the noise at night. The family were very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. They shared their local knowedge with us so we could make the most of our stay and arranged taxis when we needed to get about. We would recommend staying with Maria and her lovely family for a stay in Trinidad. Thanks Maria for taking such good care of us!

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
