Maite hostel is located in Aguacate Street, just 4 blocks from the Monument Zone or Historical City Center, where the main tourist attractions are concentrated Trinidad, city museum Carbe. Is hosting a family, modern architecture, 2 levels. On the first level there, commonly used for family and guests, a beautiful room, a parlor with comfortable sofas and modern equipment TV and DVD player. Below is a dining room where Maite, the hostess, prepares exquisite and rich gastronomic offerings such as breakfast, snacks, lunch and based on typical Cuban recipes that have earned him recognition meals, which is evident in the high rate of repetition between its clientele.
The guest room is on the second floor, access is via a staircase located in the hall at the entrance of the house. At the entrance to the room is a refrigerator stocked with soft drinks, beer and bottled water. The room is heated with a silent Split, in addition to natural ventilation provide ample windows and door giving access to private balconies, complemented by a floor fan. The bathroom is inside the room is for the exclusive use of guests, has permanent supply of hot and cold water and is equipped with soap, shampoo, towels and toilet paper. The hosts help in managing city guides and connoisseurs around the city for trips, hiking, horseback riding and many more tourist options. Maite book, tell of their arrival and will be expected at the point of arrival.

Best breakfast we have ever had in Cuba ! The room was nice and clean with a private shower and a small balcony. Maité and her husband did their best for us in terms of everything: organising wonderful excursions, advising the best places to visit, helping with the booking of the next accommodation and transport. I strongly recommend the place since it is not far from the centre and well located in terms of other facilities like internet, pharmacy, small shops. Not only the house is recommendable but overall the hosts: this family is one of the best we met in Cuba. Thank you for everything :) Dijana and Julia

Maité and Luis are friendly and make you feel at ease.
Nice and clean room with a private balcony at the back of the house. You can also sit downstairs at the front of the house, if you want to watch the street life.
(For internet access, they can connect with your Etecsa username and password, and then you can connect on their WiFi.)
Good breakfast and dinner (you can also order snacks or cocktails).
They also invited me to their New Year's Eve family party. It was a great atmosphere with food, drinks, and a lot of dancing, while sometimes neighbours passing by.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
