Staying at Hostal La Casa Roja allows you to enjoy the main tourist attractions and nightclubs most demanded by tourists visiting the city of Trinidad. Located just 20 m from the Casa de la Trova and a square surrounded by houses - art galleries where you can see and buy the original paintings of painters of the villa. Also only 20 meters from the Gourmet Restaurant, one of the most prestigious for the quality of the dishes they offer. In this house 2 rooms are rented air-conditioned, one of them with capacity for 4 people and located in the second level of the house, the other with capacity for 3 people and located in the first level. The bathrooms are private, inside each room, has permanent cold and hot water service and provides everything necessary for personal hygiene. Both have TV, wall fans; Minibar or refrigerator stocked with beers, sodas and water. There is wifi service in the house available to customers. The landline can be used free of charge.
Marlén and Jose Alberto, the hosts, are very kind people. Marlén is a professional tour guide, he has a good command of the English language and has a lot of information about the history and legends of the city.

Nos quedamos en casa de Marlen durante 2 noches y la estancia fue genial! Tanto ella como su familia fueron muy acogedores y nos ayudaron con el transporte y todas las dudas que teníamos. La habitación estaba muy bien y tenía mucha privacidad. Agradecemos mucho que nos hayan acogido durante nuestra estancia en Trinidad!

La casa está en una excelente ubicación en Trinidad, en el centro antiguo de la ciudad, con las mejores opciones de restaurantes, atracciones y lugares históricos. Los alojamientos son cómodos, con una terraza con mucho encanto y acogedora. El desayuno servido por la anfitriona fue uno de los mejores que probé en todo mi viaje a Cuba. Además, la señora Marlen y el señor José son personas muy atentas, acogedoras y serviciales. Nos ayudaron mucho con todo lo que necesitábamos, dándonos muchos consejos sobre tours y restaurantes. ¡¡¡Lo recomiendo altamente!!!

Mailén and her family are very friendly. The house is very central and everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was plentiful and always delicious.
She also gave me tips on what to do in the area and helped me organise excursions.

Mailen is one of the best hosts in Cuba! Very helpful with anything you need and helps you think ahead. Big beds and nice private rooftop. Breakfast is also very yummie

Nuestra experiencia con Mailén ha sido maravillosa. Es muy buena persona y atenta. Nos ayudó a organizar los traslados a Trinidad y un tour al Valle de los Ingenios + Trinidad con Jenny. ¡Nos encantó! Gracias a ella, pudimos ver lo más importante de Trinidad en una tarde, aunque Trinidad merece una visita de varios días.
La casa de Mailén tiene una ubicación fantástica, cerca de restaurantes, zona de ocio y edificios históricos. También tiene vistas al mar desde la azotea. Nos gustó mucho el desayuno y la relación calidad-precio del alojamiento está muy bien. La familia de Mailén es encantadora.
¡Gracias por todo, Mailén! Esperamos volver con nuestro hijo la próxima vez.Our experience with Mailen has been wonderful. She is a very good and caring person. She helped us to organize the transfers from/to Trinidad and a tour to Valle de los Ingenios + Trinidad with Jenny. We loved it! Thanks to her, we could visit the most important places from Trinidad in an afternoon, and visiting Trinidad for several days is a must.
The location of Mailen's house is fantastic, near restaurants, entertainment areas and historical buildings. Also, the rooftop has views to the sea. We liked the breakfast very much and the accommodation is good value for money. Her family is lovely.

La habitación era genial, excelente ubicación y el desayuno era delicioso. Mailén fue muy útil para organizar una excursión de un día, conseguirnos un taxi y asegurarse de que el registro fuera fácil. Definitivamente me quedaría de nuevo!

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. When can I share my contact details?
