The Merlyn hostel is a family house that rents 2 air-conditioned rooms, on the first level, in the tourist city of Trinidad. It is located in front of the International Clinic, where there is also a WIFI Internet access point, which can be accessed from inside the house and the terraces. Each room has comfortable beds, with bedding provided clean and changed periodically at the request of the clients. In addition each one has a private interior bathroom, with permanent service of cold and hot water. The laundry service is free. The house also offers varied gastronomic offers such as copious and delicious breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners.
Merlyn and Edelquis, the hosts, are very kind and helpful people. They are owners of a jeep that they use for various excursions that they organize for their guests. Among the most requested tours and tours are the Ancon beach rides, with snorkelling and lunch included; the walk to the El Cuba natural park, where the unforgettable and refreshing Javira waterfall is located. Other very demanded are also the walks to the viewpoint of Valle de los Ingenios and other nearby attractions such as the Manaca Iznaga Tower, the old sugar factory of San Isidro, Guáimaro. On the other hand, they also plan tours within the city, with a visit to the Casa del Alfarero. The landline of the house can be used free of charge by customers for local calls and to contact the next destination. Inform the family of your arrival time and it will be awaited at the point of arrival, if you wish.

I had a wonderful stay at merlyn's place. she and her family are very helpful. The houses are very clean, very comfortable, there is hot water 24 hours a day. The terrace is great. On the day I was going to Santa Clara, he got up early and prepared a sandwich. She found a taxi. her son Kevin is so sweet. It is the best and comfortable house for stay in Trinidad. The casa particular from meryl, was our best experience in cuba, compare to others. She takes really care of us.

En aout 2019 Nous avons passé 2 nuits à Trinidad. Les chambres sont très bien aménagées et le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse très agréable. Nous sommes allés à pied jusqu'à la casa musica sur la place. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cette charmante famille qui nous a indiqué de bons plans de visite et de restaurants.

Amazing casa, amazing and friendly hosts! Best possible location in Trinidad, everything is walking distance and very close to nice bars and restaurants. We spent 3 nights here and will do it again when we come back to Cuba Delicious breakfast and very clean house! Merlyn is so amazing and fun girl, we would just love to spend more days at her casa. Her husband is an excellent local guide, without knowing spanish, we had great time going around with him. And little Kevin crrates special athmosphere with his joy and happines.
Cuban people deserve better life, real freedom and better economy. And something has to change very soon in this beautiful country. We'll be back in 10 years and we want to see this amazing family and casa again.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. When can I share my contact details?
