Those who know Yoilicet González, do not imagine that behind a small and young face is hiding a woman heir to the purest Trinitarian traditions. She prefers that they call her Yoly, as they used to say to her since she was a child, in the days when she learned to knit and embroider. Her husband Adolfo is always attentive to what is needed. He is called El Pollo, hence the name of this guest house. For this marriage, receiving visitors is not by chance. They have eight years of experience in good treatment and careful attention to their customers. That is why comfort and respect for the privacy of visitors are essential in your home.
Although "Pollo" loves to talk with his visitors, for him and his wife, respect for privacy is essential. For this reason on the second floor of his house there are two rooms with bathrooms only for the use of the clients.  If you wish you can choose the entrance door to the house and you will find Yoly doing domestic chores or weaving a tablecloth. It may happen that he stops to drink a Creole coffee, because the aroma of coffee from the mountains of Trinidad breaks down even the strongest bones.
Then you can access your room that has two beds, one double and another personal. Oh, and their carvings are not accidental. The subtle and perfectionist hands of the carpenters of the mountainous massif drew in them the most authentic figures. Once in the room you will find samples of the natural architecture of the house, made with bricks from the city. Also blocks of crystals will allow you to get away from the hustle and in turn, have clarity in your room.
However, if you are one of those visitors who prefer privacy, you can choose the staircase at the side of the house and reach the terrace that welcomes you to the rooms. There you will also enjoy a small piece of beach that Yoly keeps in his matas. Palm trees, mangroves and pines adorn the main terrace.
Trinitarian evenings are ideal for reading a good book sitting on a swing or sharing among friends. Besides the good company, the upper terrace of the Hostal "El Pollo", gives you a majestic view of the Bell Tower of the Museum of Fight Against Bandits, the Guhamuaya Massif and the Ancón Peninsula. History, nature and beach make up the landscape around you.
Services
Yoly's hands are not only perfect for knitting. With the same subtlety that secures the points while weaving a blouse, a tablecloth or a bag, it prepares delicious dishes to suit the client. She prefers to do it herself, as we say in a good Cuban, everything is at home. She offers you breakfast, lunch and dinner while guaranteeing the satisfaction of each one of your needs.
Cuban recipes inherited from your family and other foreign recipes learned with exquisiteness, offer an unforgettable taste even for the finest palate. She also knows about tropical drinks, so she insists on having fresh fruits at home and if there are not immediately, her husband looks for them.
As the safety of their customers is important, Yoly and El Pollo decided to place surveillance cameras in their homes. It is not that there is vandalism in the streets of Trinidad but the old proverb says that precaution is better than regret.
Other services that you want should only be requested. They will be responsible for finding transportation, coordinating visits with guides to the historic center, dancing or Spanish language lessons, washing their clothes ... You can put everything in the hands of this couple. If you have any dissatisfaction you should only comment with them and if you wish you can write your opinion in the book that every morning Yoly places in the room to know their tastes. These services guarantee without doubts, that your holidays are just fun without worries.

For Yoly and her husband, attention to their visits is essential. While respecting their privacy, they invite them to share with them, advise places to visit and offer them, above all, peace of mind. Knowing their stories, satisfactions and dissatisfactions is a daily lesson for them.

Neighborhood
Downhill, and adorned with colonial harlequins, the neighborhood where Hostal "El Pollo" is located is a quiet place. Its location, four blocks from the historic center makes it an intimate place without noise. The murmur of the streets is behind and only a good rest awaits you.
Transport
To move around the city you can request bicycles, taxis or horses. In fact, from very close to this guest house begin horseback riding throughout the Valley of the Sugar Mills. However, the hosts advise you to walk. In just 10 minutes you will be in the very heart of the old town and there you will enjoy a wonderful experience.
