Enjoy my house for the neighborhood and the good atmosphere. My room is good for couples, adventurers, business people, and families (with children). 100 meters from the Malecón Habanero and 5 minutes from the City Center and 12 minutes from Old Havana. Enjoy a house from the 40's in excellent condition. We speak Spanish, English and Russian. But in general we can communicate in any language, come wherever you come from.

Neighborhood Description
El Vedado is a neighborhood of the city of Havana whose construction began at the end of the 19th century and reached its maximum splendor in the first half of the twentieth century. At present it forms part of the municipality Plaza de la Revolución. It is the political and administrative center of the capital of Cuba, in its vicinity are the headquarters of numerous state ministries and offices of foreign companies that have relations with the country. As for cultural activities is only comparable to Old Havana, with numerous art galleries and museums. Considered a model of urban development, it was characterized by the harmonious combination of streets and avenues populated by trees, portals and stately homes of the most varied styles, predominantly the eclectic. His subsequent evolution led him to combine buildings, cinemas, restaurants, schools, public institutions that were completing their urban plot but without losing the charm of their walks and tree-lined streets in which are still present the monumental residences of past eras, Exists in any other city in Cuba. Today it is rediscovered by architects and urbanists from around the world who admire its beauty and elegance.
How to move?
Free parking is available. The neighborhood, the Vedado, is very well connected. At 300 meters you will find Calle Linea, from where you can get around, by public transport or in the different types of taxi that Havana has. It is 6 km (12 minutes by car) from Old Havana.

Ernesto y su mujer son encantadores. Tienen una casa bonita y cuidada en la zona residencial del Vedado, a 5 mins andando del malecón. Cerca tienes el hotel Presidente, 3 mins andando, donde puedes cambiar divisa y conectarte a internet. También puedes hacerlo a unos 10 mins en el Melia Cohiba, donde hay un cadeca de cambio y enfrente un supermercado. La habitacion es grande y limpia con tu propio baño privado. Con aire acondicionado. Te ponen un desayuno en la mañana en su porche y mientras puedes charlar con ellos, aprenderás muchas cosas. Para comer tienes el paladar Mia, precio europeo pero frente al mar y merece mucho la pena. La casa se encuentra a 5/10 mins en taxi de Habana vieja, se puede ir andando también pero es un poco paliza. Para coger taxi puedes ir a calle Linea, que pasan muchos. Te pueden pedir entre 5/10 cuc. Tienes la FAC a 10 mins en taxi también.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
