Would you like to find a place to rest it is surrounded by unspoilt nature? Would you like to have fun and learn about the culture of the place? Casa Grether Carlos is the place where you can live your stay just like you want. We offer a quiet family atmosphere where you can enjoy delicious breakfasts, lunches and / or dinners "criolle" (typical Cuban cuisine) and also enjoy dancing or relax sipping a good Mojito sitting comfortably in our patio. We can also help you better organize your stay in Viñales valley allowing you to go hiking or horseback riding, day trips to Maria la Gorda and Cayo Jutias.
We offer two comfortable houses, one called Room 1 and Room 2. called The Both rooms are equipped with private entrance and private bathroom, we provide sheets and towels; The linen and room cleaning is an optional service and does not involve any additional expenditure.

About the Area
The Viñales Valley is a karst depression that is located in the westernmost part of the island of Cuba. The valley covers an area of 132 square kilometers and is located in the Sierra de los Organos, near the town of Viñales, in the province of Pinar del Río. In the lower part of the valley there are large tobacco plantations, mainly conducted through traditional agricultural techniques. Along the hills on the other hand there are numerous caves like the Cueva del Indio and Cueva de José Miguel. The rocky peaks that rise like islands from the bottom of the valley are called 'mogotes' from the local population. Viñales is possible to achieve three of the most beautiful beaches of the province, Cayo Jutias, Maria la Gorda and Cayo Levisa. In 1999 the Viñales Valley was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thanks to the many endemic species it harbors, both in terms of flora and fauna.

Yusi is a very friendly and helpful host. She organized us some very cool trips in vinales. Although she doesn't speak englisch and we don't speak spanish we could communicate. The breakfast was very extensive and delicious.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
