PLEASE NOTE:- that the month of August is a premium time and prices are slightly higher this will be shown in any booking request you make for that month.
Bright modern family home set in the small village of Kirkliston which is just under 10 miles from Princes Street the city centre of Edinburgh. Within 5 minutes drive of Main motorways leading to all parts of Scotland and England. Also Edinburgh airport is a ten minute drive away but we are not in a flight path.
Our house consists of 3 bedrooms 1 en suite, The guest room has a seperate bathroom solely for the use of the guest. We have a lounge and kitchen with dining area, a sun room that leads out into the garden which has decking and cosy sitting areas.
Our guests can have the privacy of the Sun room if they want to chill and relax , read, watch TV or use of the internet , which is also available in their room. We are a mature couple with 2 grown up boys who have there own houses and do not stay with us anymore.

Es gibt Parkplätze zur Verfügung, entweder auf der Fahrstraße oder direkt vor unserem Haus. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel: - Der Ortsbus (X38) führt Sie in das Zentrum von Edinburgh. Wir haben jetzt eine zusätzliche Stadtbusse (63), die auf die neue Straßenbahnsystem verbindet. Die Fahrpreise sind £ 1,50 Einzel- und 3,50 £ für ein Tagesticket, das die Nutzung von Straßenbahn oder Stadtbus ermöglicht.

Unser Haus befindet sich auf der Nordseite von Edinburgh Stadt in der ruhigen Ortschaft Kirkliston entfernt.
Wir sind 9 Meilen von der Innenstadt entfernt und nur 10 Minuten Fahrt vom Flughafen Edinburgh.
Die Bushaltestelle ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Haus entfernt, die Zahl X38 Bus bringt Sie direkt in die Mitte der Stadt Edinburgh.
Wir sind nicht weit von Linlithgow Palace und Stirling Castle, die auf der X38 Buslinie ist auch.
Wir sind 10 Minuten von den wichtigsten Strecken fahren, die Sie nach Glasgow im Westen nehmen, nach Norden zu den Highlands und auch im Süden von Schottland, die Sie nach England nimmt.

A very friendly and musical family. We felt very comfortable. Had very nice conversations and played music together. We were also allowed to experience a whiskey tasting with the permission of the host. Amazing. :-)

Me and my daughter really enjoyed our stay the hospitality was amazing , they served bresakfast and gave us a nice clean room to stay in. We had lovely chats and they recommended nice areas for us to visit around the city. We loved our stay and definitely will visit again

Lorraine and Bill are great hosts! Even you need something you have only to ask for it and they get it. Nice room and our own bathroom. There hospitality is great, we get drinks, coffee, chocola etc. Also the breakfast was superWe come back!

Lorraine and Bill are very welcoming and warm! We had a great chat. The house is very clean and pleasant. We left early in the morning and they got up and made us a nice breakfast. The stay was short but we hope to have the opportunity to come back ! We highly recommend Lorraine and Bill!

Thank you for your hospitality. You are the best hosts we’ve ever had. We have felt us at home and really welcome in your home!
We’ve stayed 2 nights at Bill’s and Lorraine ‘s home. Everything looks like new and very clean. We had some lovely talks with tea in the music room in the evenings. In the morning we were offered a very generous continental breakfast with fruit. Just next to the accommodation there is a bus stop. It is very easy to get into the city, the bus X38 takes you to Princess Street in 35 minutes. We enjoyed our stay very much! We shall definitely come back.

It was a great time with Bill and Lorraine. They received us very warmly and we had a barbecue together in the evening. Lorrain made us happy with a salad and nothing was missing from breakfast in the morning. The weather was good and we were able to use the garden. I can only recommend everyone to visit them.
