  Sara had a booking for herself and her boyfriend. The night before her check in I sent her a welcome email and check in instructions.
  Only at this point did Sara inform me that her and her boyfriend will not be checking in due to her boyfriends flight has been cancelled (due to flooding in India). Although I understand the circumstances I still expected Sara to communicate this information. Had I not contacted her I would have been waiting the next day for their check in... I lost the booking and it was too shoddy of a notice to book the room out again. Very inconsiderate!
