Our family consists of 6 members: Edison, Marlene, Johan, Sofia, Gerson and our beloved dog Max. All of them easy-going and willing to learn more about the culture of a foreigner visitor. The family runs a small printing press in the Historic Center while the two young study.
Edison is a marathon-runner, enthusiastic, philosopher, and sometimes passionate father.
Marlene is the heart of the family, loving, caring, and taking care of the family and the business as well, every day she will ask you, how was your day? :)
Johan is a nice person and a fresh graduate working in education.
Sofia is a dreamer, open-minded, reader and studying visual arts at the San Francisco University.
Gerson is a friendly, easy-going teenager, studying his first years of high school

About the Area
During your time in Quito you can visit the historical Capital of Ecuador. Since the house is located in the historic you can travel anywhere. You can visit El Teleferico, La Ronda, Parque Metropolitano, etc. If you want to meet new people you can go to La Mariscal, etc. Ask anyone from the family and he/she will help you with advice depending on what are your interest. Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
We don't smoke and drink in the house. Only in exceptional events.
There's a curfew of 10 pm in the house. You can come later but make sure of not being loud as you can wake up the family.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
