We live in one of the best cities to visit , Quito Ecuador. There is 3 of us, an adult and two older children. We love to know about other cultures and learn different languajes. We usually take time to make sure the guest is taken care of, tries local food and show them around. The room is a spare bedroom, that is very comfortable and with its own bathroom. I offer WIFI connection and breakfast. The guest also can use the rest of the home, such as a large kitchen for cooking and a terrace also.

About the Area
Our home is located in a central part of Quito. We are priviledged to be at a 150 mts from the bus stop (main bus lines are Trolebus, Ecovia and Metrovia), and you can go anywhere in town. We are in walking distance to malls, restaurants, gorcery stores, fresh vegetable and fruit markets and banks. We have small shops at the corner of the house, where you can find a small "tienda" for everyday supplies, paper supplies, dry cleaner etc. The street where the building is located is generally quiet and very safe, policeman patrol it a few times a day. The neighbors are friendly and family oriented.

House Rules
Since we are a family with young children we will not permit overnight guests that are not previously signed up for the program. Although we do not have a curfew, we do ask that you tell us the aproximate time you will be arriving. If you choose to drink or use drugs, we do ask not to do it in the apartment or around it, and not to come in under the influence of those quemicals, you can stay away until you are able to do so. You will be given a set of keys to use, but you are not allowed to make copies of them for anyone. The laundry room is open from 8am till 10pm. If you use any of the amenities in the building (patio, bbq, kitchen, tv room etc...) you are going to be asked to pick up after yourself. If you want to have friends over, they have to be respectful and no bad words, actions or behaviors (such as drinking, smoking, insulting, yelling etc) will be allowed. They cannot stay longer than 8pm in the weekdays and

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
