Suite cómoda

My partner and I had the pleasure of being hosted by Anahita and her husband for 5 weeks in their amazing suite. From the moment we arrived, Anahita was so accommodating, kind, friendly and helpful, and made us feel so welcome in her home. Throughout our stay, she and her husband were just the best hosts. I particularly appreciated how they were so thoughtful about letting us have our privacy, but were there to chat or help with anything we needed.
The suite is definitely a gem. It is totally self-contained and has all the essentials, plus thoughtful extras like patio chairs and a table, so we could make use of the outdoor space. We often ate outdoors as it was shady and cool out there, even in the July heat - what a treat! As it’s ground level, the suite itself stayed pretty cool despite the heat, and I imagine it would be warm and cosy in the winter time.
Although Anahita did thoughtfully warn us before we booked that the bed is a little small for two people, we chose to risk it, and found it to be totally fine for our short term stay. In fact, the bed itself is very comfortable and we found the room to have enough storage space that we didn’t feel cramped.
The location is excellent - it’s walking distance to downtown Port Coquitlam’s grocery stores, library, community centre and swimming pool, and there are some lovely riverside trails just a few minutes away.
Anahita and her husband were very open to feedback about our stay and we felt so cared for as their guests. We had so much fun talking with them and getting to know each other, they are such interesting, fun and cool people! They have played a huge part in making our move back to Canada as smooth and comfortable as possible. I can’t thank them enough. We’re very lucky to have met them both and to be able to call them our friends.

I had a fantastic experience staying for a month with Anahita and her husband Aydin. They are such a friendly and generous couple who made me feel at home from the moment I arrived (very jetlagged). Throughout my stay they continually were very kind to me and keen to offer advice on local places to visit and any questions I had. They also struck the perfect relaxed balance where I felt I had my own independence to do my own thing, as was the case when I was busy with my course for a while - whilst also if I had free time then I can message them and we would organise a drink somewhere. The choice is yours.

The room was exactly what I needed, you have the entire downstairs - it is a double room with an en suite, and a small kitchen area in the room with everything you need.

Overall I am very grateful to have stayed with such lovely people who I would now consider friends.
