My stay with Keiko-san and Mi-chan was absolutely wonderful, truly a time I will never forget! I literally cannot put into words how special and meaningful this experience was for me.
As my first time leaving my home country alone, I couldn’t have asked for a better family to stay with. From the moment I walked through their door, they made me feel welcome and at home. Staying with them (and their adorable cat!) in their cozy, inviting house was perfect, and I always felt safe and cared for. They truly provided me with a sense of security that made living in a foreign country much less intimidating. No matter what, they were always there for me, not just as hosts, but as friends and family.
They created such a warm and comfortable environment that I often find myself looking back on our happy moments together. Whether we were at home watching movies, baking, or just enjoying each other’s company, exploring the city and eating together, or even traveling to another part of Japan, every memory with them is precious to me, and I miss our time together so much! The neighborhood itself is lovely, and I spent nearly every day taking walks along the nearby river with a stunning skyline view (especially at night!) or through the pretty streets. The area is also very convenient, with the train station just a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to travel anywhere. The neighborhood also has plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
I genuinely miss those warm summer days with Keiko-san and Mi-chan dearly. I would return in a heartbeat and 1000% recommend their homestay to anyone looking for an amazing experience!

It was a lovely stay with Fukuda san and her daughter! There is honestly nothing more I could ask for! At first I was worried about not following the rules of the Japanese culture and such, but it was never the case. Fukuda san is a lovely mother with a great global perspective and is very easy going. She knows so much about the world that I didnt even know. Not to mention how cute the cat is haha! I am so so glad that I was able to book a stay at her place and would definitely come by again if there is the opportunity!

I really loved staying with Keiko-san, her friendly daughter and shy kitty. I honestly could not have asked for a better host family to stay with, they were perfect! Even when I was sick with covid and a fever, they would give me covid tests, medication to reduce my fever and even offered to take me to the local clinic. I could not fault my experience with them, their house was lovely and cosy, just like home. Thank you for being there for me. Next time I'm in Tokyo I would happily book with them again, provided they have room ofcourse. Currently travelling around Japan...

I can't begin to express how lucky I felt to have met the Fukudas and stay with them. They're a lovely family and so welcoming and easy to get along with. I'd never done a homestay before and it was always one of my goals to do a Tokyo homestay and it was an experience I'll never forget. I was also fortunate enough to have another roommate that I quickly became close with and I was able to spend time with everyone in the family on both an individual basis and everyone together--those were some of my favorite memories. I traveled to other cities and countries during my stay but I always looked forward to coming home and seeing everyone and being able to spend time together or make plans.
The house is in a quiet but convenient location, there are supermarkets and a convenience store within easy walking distance as well as one at the bigger station nearby. The neighborhood is also very peaceful. There's plenty of space and storage in the rooms and I spent a lot of time in the living room as well. It's quite easy to get to the busier parts of Tokyo or down to Yokohama, and if I wanted something a little slower paced, Tama river is also easily accessible. There are some gorgeous views of the river and bridge just by the nearby stations. Living here was very comfortable and I was on my own schedule quite often so I appreciated the freedom having my own house key.
Given the chance, I would love to stay again. Fukuda-san was very understanding and patient even though at times I struggled to express some thoughts in Japanese and I said a lot of things incorrectly but I got to learn and practice more than I would back at home. I loved chatting about all sorts of things together. Also I had always wanted sisters growing up and I was happy to have had the experience to enjoy my homestay with two younger sisters, Mi-chan being one of them. She is so kind, hilarious and such a bright person to be around. Both her and Fukuda-san were so helpful whenever I needed it and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm looking forward to the next time we'll meet この夏は本当に楽しかった。帰って寂しいけど、また会おうと思うと嬉しくなります。お世話になりました。ホームステイさせていただきありがとうございました!o(*⌒―⌒*)o

Nothing I could say could truly reflect my experience here. I was here for three months on an internship in Japan and came very shy and uncertain. It makes me emotional to think I left a very confident and strong person and I could not credit myself before giving it out to Keiko-san and Mi-chan. The best, most kind and caring hosts ever and they took care of me when I was always getting ill or not feeling great. They are what felt like family. I remember getting sushi with them just yesterday! The memories have literally stained my brain, and I hope I think about them every day because they were just that welcoming and lovely.
The area is quiet and lovely and super convenient for groceries and trains, and the house is so cosy and has everything you could possibly need. There are a few restaurants nearby too, or you can be lazy and order food in > - <
I also came with very little Japanese. Like, you can tell I learnt from anime kind of Japanese lol. But they taught me so much, including hiragana, just by speaking to me...definitely already missing the language.
Take care and I hope we cross paths again. ありがとう 稽古ーさん, みーちゃん と ボニーちゃん <3

The time spent at Keiko-san's house was one of the happiest in Japan. I came to Tokyo for an internship and stayed at Keiko-san's for over 4 months. Her family, including her lovely daughter Miyuki, truly became my dear friends, my first guides to life in Tokyo. From attending festivals, trying on kimonos, to sushi outings, family trips to Costco, board games, preparing shabu-shabu, to celebrating holidays together—every experience was filled with such a warmth and joy! It was in Japan that I learned to ride a bike for the first time, with my dear Miyuki as my first teacher. My memories with this family are so warm that I no longer perceive them merely as a host family but rather as wonderful friends—a family I've grown to love and will always visit whenever I'm in Japan. If you're seeking a comfortable stay in Tokyo and come across Keiko-san's page, consider yourself fortunate. I highly recommend paying Keiko-san a visit and discovering the wonderful friendship waiting for you with her and Miyuki!

I had a really wonderful time at Keiko's house.
Usually, for my personality, I find it difficult to be comfortable in a house of other people, but this time was different. It quickly became my second home.
It is very comfortable also in terms of facilities nearby! There are 2 close stations: Tamagawa and Numabe. There are a lot of restaurants and a very close sushi chain. There is a wonderful shrine near tamagawa station where you can admire the view on Maruko bridge and Kanagawa Prefecture. A paradise for the eyes. I really miss that view..Keiko san and her daughter are extremely beautiful people, kind, sensitive and ready to help you in everything! They also have a super kawaii cat, she's very a curious observer.
I had 2 other girls in the house during my stay and we quickly became a big family, sharing experiences, trips and beautiful festivals together.
So, if you would like to stay in a beautiful house with beautiful people don't be afraid and come to Keiko's house. She will welcome you with open arms <3
Oh it was so hard to leave.. so happy to have chose them! Thanks again for everything またね <3noviembre 2023

Keiko-San is a great host. Very warm and lovely. The cat is super cute and I think you will feel very welcomed in this house. It was beautiful. If you want to stay with a kind family in a quiet but beautiful neighbourhood go there! Also Tama River is wonderful especially for midnight walks. Thank you Keiko-San I really enjoyed my time with you and your family!
