I enjoy meeting people from all around the globe and sharing good times with them.
I'd be very happy if I could be of any help during / even before and after your stay.
So feel free to ask anything - getting around in Japan, learning Japanese, experiencing Japanese culture and what not. I offer cooking lessons for about 2000 yen to 3000 depening on what we cook and free Kimono/ Yukata experience for those who stay with us more than 6 nights. Nail art at lower prices is available if our schedules meet.
With our guests, we enjoy talking, exchanging cultures and sometimes partying or eating out.
I hope all our guests know more about our culture and like our country even better.
During your stay, I prepare two meals ( full breakfast and dinner included ) every day and clean your rooms and do your laundry regularly.
Weight loss meal plans are available.
We have a separate bathroom only for our guests' use.
We have free unlimited WiFi throughout our house.
There are three supermarkets nearby, one within one minute walk, another within five minutes and the other in about a seven minute walk.
One is 24/7 and the others are open from 9 am to 11 pm.
Our city is located in the west of central Tokyo with the train station which has one of the largest numbers of passengers in Japan.
It has a big shopping area where you can enjoy a different kinds of shops, restaurants and even a huge national park nearby.
Many mangas are taking place and movies were shot here in our city.

I had a wonderful two week stay at Tomoko's place! The meals were home cooked and delicious while the room was spacious and clean. Tomoko was a great host and I enjoyed practicing my Japanese with her. (She has great English!) Additionally, the cats in the house were very friendly and they made my stay even more fun. Don't hesitate to book a stay with Tomoko as she is a very experienced host and will make your time in Tokyo a great one. I can't wait to go back and stay with her again :)

A very late review, since my computer was wrecked on the flight home and it's taken me a while to save up for a new one and log back in. Sorry for the tardiness, Tomoko-san.
Tomoko-san and her husband were both a joy to stay with in the time I was in Japan. The food was excellently cooked, I was looked after and the stay was about as comfortable as I can honestly imagine it getting. I have zero complaints, besides that perhaps your typical Japanese home isn't built to accommodate someone my size, though that is more an awkward quirk of architecture I learned to deal with without issue.
I can emphatically say, without a doubt, that I recommend Tomoko-san to anyone hoping to stay in the Tokyo area. It's a bit of a train trip in but I found that gave me ample time to get some reading done. She is fluent, cosmopolitan, open-minded and a great conversationalist and I never seemed to be starved of new facts when speaking to her. As someone that came to Japan to learn, I can say in hindsight that she fulfilled that need readily and with little to no issue.
I still rave and gush to my friends when I speak about my trip there and for good reason. It still feels like an understatement to say I had a good time there. Thank you once again Tomoko-san, and I hope you'll have me again some day.

I stayed with Tomoko for 6 nights, her house was beautiful and a short walk away from 2 train stations directly connected to Shinjuku the heart of Tokyo. Tomoko made everything easy giving me all the information I needed for my first trip to Japan and she even picked me up from the bus stop. Without her help arriving in Tokyo alone would have been slightly daunting and overwhelming.....
I highly recommend her home stay for anyone and would advise my friends to book the same in the future.
Her cooking was delicious and she even gave me a 3 hour window for breakfast which I didn’t expect.
Thank you Tomoko see you again in Japan or Europe.

Tomoko-san's homestay experience is a fantastic value proposition. The opportunity to explore Japanese culture while staying with a Japanese family eating Japanese meals at an affordable price is so much better than just staying at a regular hotel.
Conversations were fun and there was always something interesting to learn through her various experiences. Tomoko-san was always available for any questions and advice regarding sightseeing and even helped me get some nicely engraved Fuji chopsticks as I had run out of time in my explorations to get souvenirs.
Tomoko-san prepared delicious breakfast and dinner daily and introduced me to several Japanese dishes. She was incredibly kind as to include potatoes in my meals upon request and super flexible about the time for breakfast (7 am for me) and skipping dinner (with due notification in advance).
The yukata experience was also a lot of fun as another guest joined in on and Tomoko-san helped us get dressed in a traditional Japanese manner and took pictures for us.
Didn't get to interact much with the other family members but the cats were super friendly. Overall a 10/10 experience that I'd definitely do again!
