LOVELY,SPACIOUS ROOM,CENTRAL

The stay at Toni’s apartment was very good. He is an extremely helpful and kind host. The room is nice and even bigger than it looks like on the pictures. The apartment was clean and I always felt comfortable during the whole stay. City Centre is quite close and easy to reach (less than 10 minutes) via the nearby metro station. In the area around the apartment are plenty of shops and restaurants and the buildings in the area feature the charming old-fashioned style of Barcelona.
If there will be a next time for me in Barcelona I’ll get in touch with Toni again and ask him for the room.

IN ENGLISH: I had a wonderful and memorable time in Barcelona, thanks to Tony. I feel as if I arrived as a guest and left as a friend. Of course, the main reason why I choose to stay with a person that lives in the city is to experience the authentic culture and way of life of the people there. This is especially important to me as I speak Spanish to an intermediate level and wish to use continue to learn and practice speaking Spanish (rather than to stay at a hotel where I would not be able to speak Spanish).

Tony’s English is very good and for that reason, I am really pleased that Tony took time to have conversations with me in Spanish. Tony is a warm, friendly and kind person and I immediately felt comfortable in his house. He is eager to please his guests and to make sure that they feel comfortable in his house.

I don’t have anything negative to say because this homestay is ideal. It is centrally located in a nice neighbourhood, metro stations close by, and the house is clean and spacious (especially the bedroom). I would highly recommend Tony.

EN ESPAÑOL: Lo pasé muy bien en Barcelona, gracias a Tony. Me siento como si había llegado como un invitado y luego se hizo un amigo. La razón principal que quiero quedarme con una persona de la cuidad es experimentar la cultura autentica y estilo de vida de la gente. Esto es muy importante para mí porque hablo español (como un extranjero) y necesito practicar y aumentar mi nivel en el idioma. En un hotel, lo estaría casi imposible hablar en español.

Tony habla Inglés muy bien y por esta razón, me alegro que Tony me dio tiempo para conversar con él en español. Tony es una persona amable y cariñosa. Me sentí feliz y confortable en su casa.

No tengo comentarios negativos porque su casa es ideal. La ubicación está central en un buen barrio, hay estación de metro cercana, y su casa está limpia con un amplia habitación. Recomiendo la casa de Tony. Muchas Gracias.

Tony is a great host ! He emailed us very clear information as to how to get to his flat from the airport, he is easy to get in touch with, very helpful (info about top attractions, restaurants), accomodating (flexible with arrival times) and friendly.
The flat is ideally located : withing walking distance of la Rambla and the old town, very close to the metro.
What you need to know about the flat : it is a one bedroom place so do not be surprised if you hear Tony at night (small place means you could feel like he is almost in the room with you), must get really hot in the summer.
We enjoyed it and recommend it.

Tony waited in for us to arrive and made sure we had good information as to how to get to his place from the airport
The flat is very near to La Rambla and therefore easy to access places to go very easily either via Metro or by walking
Tony is a gentle, calm spirit who clearly cares about offering a good service for his guests and will always take time to tell you how to get to places
Myself and my travelling companion highly recommend him to any potential visitors

Tony was a great host! Very friendly, helpful & accommodating. Nothing to but good things to say about him as a host! The apartment was centrally located in town & close to the metro to get around, but it was a little smaller then we expected and without air conditioner (luckily the nights were cool & with a fan and open window we were comfortable), but it was clean & Tony supplied us w/ a small fan for the bedroom to try to make us feel comfortable. The only real issue we faced were that there were many stairs to climb to get to the apartment, that we were not aware of. We arrived with quite a bit of luggage, as we were traveling for about 2 weeks. Tony was however kind enough to help us carry all of our bags up and down the stairs upon arrival & departure. Overall it was a pleasurable experience and enjoyed getting to know Tony and finding a new friend from Barcelona who we plan to keep in contact with.

Tony was a very accommodating host. He provided helpful suggestions and advice on things to see and do in Barcelona. For me, a mature woman traveling solo, the main issues were the 6 flights of stairs (although Tony was very helpful assisting with my luggage on arrival and departure), and the small size of the apartment which was shared with Tony. However the location was central within easy walking distance to many of Barcelona's attractions. There is a launderette close by as well as a myriad of cafés and other eating and drinking venues.

It's was great experience for me to stay at Tony's room. He is a great human being and always focus on comfortability of guests. He is also great guide and help us a lot during our travel at Barcelona. He provided us good breakfast. His room is in the perfect location of Barcelona city centre. He can speak very good English and his communication skill also very nice (available also in WhatsApp). We have enjoyed very much at Barcelona and most of the credit goes to Tony. Hope, we will come again and we will stay again in his room at Barcelona. Highly recommended for all those guests who want to explore Barcelona rather than staying at hotel for luxury.
