Home Stay in La Jolla (Near UCSD,
USAELC English school (in old town)

**Living Room

*If you need a preference from current renters, they are happy to help you.

*Rent payments requested to be paid 2 or 3 days before the first of the month to avoid a late fee of $50/day. If rent is late more than three days, we will give a 3 day notice for you to vacate the room/house. In that case, the security deposit would be forfeited in lieu of unpaid rent.
(This is the California law, 3days evictions)

*When you apply my homestay,
We would need:
1. your passport copy
2. Our “home stay application
Paper”you and us both sighed
(We will send it you when you
apply our homestay)
3. We need for you to send us three months worth of bank or financial statements showing that you have enough money to pay your rent unless guaranty Your government pay)
4. You need send us $950
Security deposit by "PayPa"l or "Western Union"

*If your friend want to spend a night, $20 a day but you have to get owner’s permission.
*Garage is not option unless you get owner’s permission, otherwise we will charge $10 a day.

*My living room is very nice and most of time you would be by yourself. Very quiet and Beautiful. We have a sofa bed and when you want to sleep, you can make it into a bed. There is a bathroom is downstairs.
We have three room dividers and when you go to bed you can use them for privacy.

*No private room with no private bath.
*Bath room is downstair.
*Rent payments requested when you reserve the living room.
*Must pay rent payment deposit via "Western Union" or come my house to pay directly and have rental application signed by all parties before you move into the living room.

*Late fee is $50 a day
*Electricity, internet is included.
*Laundry facility is available.
*Furniture is included such as :
(desk, chair, night table, TV, bed, sheets, towels, dresser, closet and mirror)
*Toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap are included.
*Once a week cleaning of room and bathroom.
*Living room is tile floor.
*Heated pool and jacuzzi is available in spring and summer.
*About 12 min to walk to the bus stop (there is a short cut) also available are UCSD shuttles and one bus stop to UCSD also UTC bus stop.
*Within walking distance to UCSD and close to Scripps Research Center and Salk Institute and TSRI. Near everything from shops (Wholefoods, Trader Joes, Ralphs), theatres (Landmark and AMC La Jolla Theatres), post office, bank, print shop , UTC mall, restaurants and bars (TGI Friday's, BJ's, Elijah's, California Pizza Kitchen, Islands, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Crouton's, Schlotzsky's, Ginza Sushi, Humphrey's) and coffee shops (Pete's and Starbucks).
*Easy access to I-5, 52 or I-805 freeways. Located off the 5 Fwy and Nobel Street. Just 5 miles to downtown La Jolla, 10 minutes drive to the beach, and 10 miles from SDSU and downtown San Diego.

*This home is ideal for Scripps researchers, doctors, visiting scholars and young professionals, Scripps Researchers, incoming students attending UCSD, college Interns.

*Refundable $1,300 or $1,400security deposit. (If you don't cause any problems, you can get 100% of your money back when you leave.)

*Renters have to take off their shoes and I will provide indoor slippers.
*If you want your friend or family to spend a night, it's $40 a night per person.
*you can't store your belongings in our garage except with owner's permission.

*If you store without owner’s permission, we will charge $10 a day.

*About 12 min to walk to the bus stop (there is a short cut) also available are UCSD shuttles and one bus stop to UCSD also UTC bus stop. (You can go to UCSD by bicycle from my house about 10 minutes.)
*Within walking distance to UCSD and close to Scripps Research Center and Salk Institute.
