Hola, soy Ester
Humilde, Confiando, Aventurero
I'm an adventurer. Love learning about the host's culture! Why not learn their language as well? :) I'm a curious person when travelling. Life's too short to discover the wonders this world holds. Français (fluently), Español (fluently), English (fluently), Italiano (A2) and Japanese(N4) are the languages I can use to communicate with the host/s.

My review is late, but better late than never!
Mimura-san's place was great!!! I went there with my sister and the room was perfect! We slept in a traditional Japanese room, with futons. We shared the place with another guest. I loved the place because it was fully decorated with One Piece merch!
Mimura-san lives next door, so it's easy to contact her if you need something. She picked us from the train station and was willing to drop us near the aquarium, but we cancelled the activity. The train station isn't far from the place. Easy to go downtown! Well located.
For breakfast, hmm yogurt, bread, some noodles.. Eatable. Depends every morning!
She doesn't speak English, but her son does so no worries if you can't speak Japanese!
Truly a great experience. Worth the money!! Mimura-san, arigatou gozaimasu!
This has to be one of the best homestay experiences I have had the chance to live! Staying at Mary Jo's place was the best of my trip to Philly! Not only was it easy to find, but Mary Jo herself was truly caring, sweet and so fun to be around!
I spent most of my days outside, but the few moments with her and Stella (her dog) were great! I wish I could have stayed longer!!
The room is perfect! It's small, but sleeping comfortably is the most important. Sofa bed is of excellent quality! I slept like a baby every night! It was hard to leave the bed! ;)
Her dog is precious!!! Very friendly! Lots of energy and simply a bundle of joy! I miss her! She loves getting love!
Her house is very well situated! I like walking so always went downtown by foot, it's a good 35-40mins walk! Very easy and healthy!
Lots of little shops around! Lovely and quiet neighbourhood!!
A pleasant stay!! Recommend!!! Won't hesitate to book again!! :)
Staying at Maria's place was the best decision ever! Maria and her husband are charming people, always teaching you something new! I was treated like a member of their family. They helped improve my English and were always ready to help when needed. The room was cozy and clean!! Their dog is a real love! The other guest at that time was sweet and friendly! We became good friends! Maria's place is safe, caring, clean and includes lots of sweet chitchats before bed.. I would definitely go back to them if I have the chance to visit Dublin again! I recommend it x100!!! An experience I will never forget! Thank you so much Maria and husband! :)
Oh, by the way... If you're crazy like I am, walking downtown from their place is a good 1h20 walk. But beautiful buildings and houses to see while walking. The bust stop from their place is a 5 mins walk or a bit more... Depends of your speed. ;) I could write pages about this host family! Lovely stay! Enjoy it!!!!! (Sorry for the late review!)
One of my best experiences with a host! :D Cher was an amazing person! So cheery, so open to any discussion, so friendly, so funny, so caring!! Gosh, she is simply amazing! The room I stayed in was the 'Lounge' one. I first thought it would be uncomfortable to sleep on a couch bed, but gosh was I wrong. I slept like a baby!! Very comfortable!!! Nothing negative to say about the room! The house is very well located to go to London or Greenwich! You can go to Greenwich by foot, 15-20mins or take the DLR.... but honestly, enjoy the shops and streets of Deptford and Greenwich with that short walk! You won't regret it ;) As for London, very easy to reach taking the bus or train. Of course, the DLR/train is faster, but the bus is cheaper ahahaha. It's as you wish. So far, Cher is the perfect host for your London trip!! :D You won't regret booking with her! :D You'll always a laugh with her!! Oh, and make sure you know how to get to her house ;) It's tricky! ah ha ha! Enjoy your stay with her!
ENG: Chiaki san and her family are the best!! I loved staying with them. I felt part of their family! They are so caring and funny! The couple has a good English which is very helpful because I don't speak much Japanese. However, thanks to Chiaki-san speaking to me in Japanese sometimes, I improved my listening skills. The food we ate at her place was delicious! Lots of new food we tasted. Like NATTO!!!! I spent a week with her and her family. I was with my sister and we stayed in the japanese style room together. Very comfy! My sister and I fell in love with her dogs! So funny and lively. I always think that a family with pets is the best. Their house is a bit far from the station... like 25-30 mins walking. It's a nice walk but when you come back from a tired day visiting Kyoto... it feels loooong! You can get to her house by bus as well but I'm not very good with buses. Ah ha ha ha very safe place though! About Kyoto, it's very easy to reach taking the train from Takatsukishi station. Cheaper than the Takatsuki Station which are very close to each other. :P I am very thankful to Chiaki-san and her family for letting us stay at her house. Beautiful experience and I wish to stay there again. You won't regret booking with them.
Espero volver a verlos. SALUDOS!
