Beautiful place to stay in Santa Clara, very nice furnished. This Casa truly looks like a museum, so pretty. We used breakfast and dinner here, which were of good quality. Special thanks to the employees, who gave such an amazing service.

Trinidad could not be missing in our travel schedule to Cuba, so we stayed here for 3 nights. Finding it was a bit difficult, as Trinidad has a lot of small streets and we were having a hard time interpreting the Cuban addresses. After driving around a bit, we found out that they are findable on maps.me under the name Hostal Destino, which made it a lot easier! Once we got there we were not disappointed, the building is beautifully renovated and it has a nice and welcoming patio. Most of the guest rooms are on the first floor, where you will also find a nice outdoor area where they will prepare diner, breakfast or a nice drink. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and furnished with good taste. What I really loved is how they gave the rooms a modern look, but still kept Caribbean/Cuban details like the wooden shutters. From our room one of the shutters gave a great view over Trinidad's rooftops. Trinidad is very alive, so when we opened the shutters, or when you get outside your room you will here the live Cuban music from the city center. The center is only a couple of minutes walking distance. The car free zone of Trinidad starts right after walking out the building to the right. Don't worry about parking your car, because there are a couple of meters left and because of this there is no other traffic passing. In case the old lady living next door tries to charge you for the parking, you can call Xavier or his lovely wife. ;) What we also loved about this place is the rooftop terrace. This is a great place to relax, drink a beer in the 'swing bench' while enjoying the sunset and the view over Trinidad. We also used dinner and breakfast, which were of good quality, also the service. In case it wasn't obvious yet, we are convinced when you go to Trinidad you should stay here. We stayed here 2 nights while traveling through Cuba. The room was well maintained and clean. The house is located close to the main street of Viñales (2 min walk). We used dinner here on the first evening (fresh fish) and that was very good! The family is friendly and hospitable. We used breakfast as well, with eggs and fresh juices. Viñales itself we also definitely recommend, it is a great way to see the countryside of Cuba, it's beautiful.

This was the first location we stayed when arriving in Cuba and what a good welcome it was! The rooms of Carlos and Carmen are located in a beautiful colonial building. The room was comfortable, clean and furnished in a way that suits the building. This was the same for the room where the guests can use breakfast. Breakfast was very good as well, with fresh fruits and juices. The location is perfect for experiencing Havana, it is in the middle of Havana Vieja and a lot of tourist attractions and restaurants are on walking distance. We definitely recommend this place while staying in Havana! Two tips; at a 10min walking distance we found this restaurant, 'El Chanchullero', which was very good food. The second tip, if you are having trouble sleeping in a noisy environment, then bring your earplugs. ;) Havana is very alive, 24 hours a day, with all these beautiful old buildings it's difficult to keep the noise outside.
